The Nintendo Wii seems to be custom made for a Star Wars game. But with no game in sight, what will Star Wars fanboys do? Make one themselves.

As chance has it, Star Wars fanatics are also adept at hacking technology. Who would have thought? Well someone hacked the WiiMote to become a lightsaber by using a Mac's bluetooth connection. Believe it or not, it's really really cool. I downloaded and installed the program and was jumping around my house looking like a bigger loser than that Star Wars kid. And now you can look like the Star Wars kid too.

Someone even posted a video of the WiiSaber in action.

Tip: Press the B button to turn the lightsaber on and off.

We would like to see built in speaker support and more sound effects added. How about making the controller buttons make blaster effects. And how about a Darth Maul option where you can do a dual blade retraction and motion flare?
