Pirates co-scribe Terry Rossio says that Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End will have an epic grand finale.

"The most difficult thing about writing a trilogy is coming up with the climactic ending of the trilogy," Rossio told SciFiWire. "So for that third film, you have not only the usual challenges of coming up with an ending, but somehow you have to have the ending of all endings."

Let's hope it's better than Dead Man's Chest which was critically and publicly slammed as a two and a half hour trailer for the third film. However the film was a huge sucess, grossing over $1 billion to become the third biggest film of all time

At Worlds End follows Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), and Captain Barbossa's (Geoffrey Rush) journey to to save Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and defeat the alliance between Davy Jones, Cutler Beckett, admiral James Norrington, and a new enemy, Sao Feng.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End hits theaters worldwide on May 25th 2007.

Did You Know: At Worlds End started filming without a finished script, which is never a good sign for a tentpole Hollywood film.
