Next year you will be able to download and burn the latest Harry Potter film online.
Time Warner plans to offer services that let consumers download movies from the Internet that can be burned onto DVDs in 2007. Warner's top executive said on Tuesday that the company would likely make the movies available to download on the same day and date the DVDs go on sale.

"I expect we will be in a download-to-burn mode in 2007 -- It will be a part of next year's offerings," Richard Parsons, chief executive and chairman of Time Warner, said at the third annual Reuters Media Summit in New York.

Time Warner owns the following movie involved companies: Warner Bros, Warner Independent, New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment, Turner Entertainment,  HBO, TBS, TNT, CW, AOL, and Moviefone.com.

Warner Bros is responsible for the Batman, Harry Potter, Matrix, Lethal Weapon and Superman series of films. New Line Cinema is responsible for the Austin Powers, Rush Hour and Lord of the Rings series of films.
