Did you know that Tim Robbins discovered Jack Black, casting him in his 1992 first time directorial effort Bob Roberts.

Jack went on to do many smaller Hollywood films including a deleted scene from True Romance where he played a Movie Theatre attendant. You may also remember Black as Slip, the bully leader in The NeverEnding Story III.

Jack and Robbins have remained friends until this day, appearing together in Dead Man Walking, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, High Fidelity, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Cradle Will Rock.

Robbins also appears in Jack Black's Tenacious D in 'The Pick of Destiny' which opens up later this month.
