Pop Quiz: How old is the actress that plays Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter movies?

It turns out that Shirley Henderson turns 41 years old in November. Unbelievable but true.

You may also recognize Henderson as Jude from the Bridget Jones Diary movies and most recently as Aunt Sophie in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. Being age 35 at the time that she first played Moaning Myrtle, she is the oldest actor to play a Hogwarts student in the Harry Potter films.

Moaning Myrtle is a ghost who haunts the second floor girls' lavatory at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. True to her nickname, Myrtle has a tendency to sob, whine, wail and complain. Myrtle will make her next appearance in Book Six, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
