Dimension Films has acquired the movie rights to make a big screen adaptation of the recently created comic book series O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Taskforce.

Back in July when Rosario Dawson launched the title which she co-created and stars in, we saw this coming. It seemed like a perfect idea to be made into a movie, especially since you already have your main star attached.

Dimension's deal has Dawson attached to star and produce. Dawson created the comic with David Atchison and Tony Shasteen, who will also take producing credits.

O.C.T.: Occult Crimes Taskforce follows an animated version of Dawson, a "New York police detective who, after stumbling upon a gruesome and bizarre crime scene, is enlisted for a covert squad that uses black arts and mystical weaponry to hunt down and kill soul-sucking ghouls."
