A new poster for Shrek the Third has been released. The poster has been removed from the site on order from the Dreamworks legal team, read more about that here.

The voice cast for Shrek the Third includes Strangers with Candy star Amy Sedaris as Cinderella, Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchor Amy Poehler as Snow White, Maya Rudolph (50 First Dates, SNL) as Rapunzel and Cheri Oteri (Scary Movie, SNL 1995-2000) as Sleeping Beauty. The four will team up as a "ninja-like strike force of fairy-tale princesses" who will fend off a coup d'etat by Prince Charming (played by Rupert Everett). Also joining the cast are Ian McShane (Scoop, Sexy Beast) as Captain Hook, John Krasinski (The Office, Jarhead) as Sir Lancelot, Eric Idle (Monty Python) as Merlin the magician, and Justin Timberlake as King Arthur, aka Artie. Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas have returned for the third film.

The movie is directed by newcomer Chris Miller (who voiced Geppetto and Magic Mirror in the original Shrek) and Raman Hui (who was the supervising animator on Shrek and Antz).

Shrek the Third will hit theaters nationwide on May 18th 2007.
