The Transporter might be back for one more adventure, it just might take a couple years to get off the ground.

Jason Statham says the he's talked with director Luc Besson about doing a third film.

"We have talked about it, and we've talked about it," laughed Statham on the Crank press tour. "We don't want to do one next week, but give us a bit of time and we'll stick another one in the bag. I'd like to and he said he would, too."

"I mean, people like the Transporter movies. I get a lot of good feedback from it," admitted Statham.

The Crank star does admit that if and when a third film goes into production, it will be much improved over the last installment.

"I don't want to be too negative and say what I did and didn't like from that last film, but we have so much room to make a better film. We were up against all kinds of things, shooting schedules, hurricanes, different things, no prep time… and we still made a decent film," said Statham. "I know that [if you] give us the things we need, and we'll do something really special."
