We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

The Amazon original series Transparent won five Emmys over the weekend, including Jeffrey Tambor nabbing Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Jill Soloway won Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, Bradley Whitford won Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, the series also won Outstanding Main Title Theme Music and Outstanding Costumes For A Contemporary Limited Series or Movie. To celebrate all of those Emmy statues, Amazon will be discounting the cost of Amazon Prime to new members or a very limited time. Find out the details, after the jump.

Amazon Prime usually costs $99 a year, but Amazon is discounting the membership to only $67 if you sign up on Friday September 25th 2015 between 12:00 AM ET to 11:59 PM PT. Amazon Prime gets you access to Transparent season 1, and season 2 will be available in December. It also gets you access to many other movies and TV shows in addition to music streaming, and of course, free two-day shipping — which is something I use on a weekly basis.
