Over 100 Star Wars fans broke into an an massively epic lightsaber fight in Bristols Cabot Circus, a shopping mall in Bristol, England. The flashmob was organized online through facebook, and took place on February 13th 2010. Watch some videos after the jump.

I was there and the atmosphere was electric! A really good few minutes. Old ladies, kids, nerds, dads, all sorts of people going at it in the name of Star Wars... good old fashioned fun for all.

LAME!!!!!! people on the upperdeck were expecting and waiting for it. Great concept, but doesn't have the same feel of the public "awe." and they cheered for themselves as they finished. They should have just put the sabers away and walked on like nothing happened.

Flashmobs are fun. I've done a few, pillowfights, dancing.

But my favorite was a silent dance party. Everyone had their iPods in. It was during a 'silence retreat' that was driving us all crazy.

I agree, you just can't re calibrate the focusing crystal to bring up a yellow beam, I've tried, so has my master. But 'Green', well I've had a green beam saber since I was a youngling. Are you a sith by any chance, bored of just getting a red beam? Jealous of the Green?
