Directed by Mike Newell (“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) with a cast that includes SIR BEN KINGSLEY and ALFRED MOLINA, and a screenplay by Doug Miro & Carlo Bernard from a screen story by Jordan Mechner and Boaz Yakin, PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME hits theaters Memorial Day Weekend, 2010.

  • I don't like that the Prince is being portrayed as the evil/angry one from Warrior Within, but it's not like I expected much from this anyway. Yeah I'll be angry when it comes out, but it's not going to make me punch babies or anything drastic.

It looked like a typical Hollywood CGI-fest. I thought I was watching the trailer for the lastest MUMMY installment. I'm not going anywhere near this one. I can't believe the same guy who directed DONNIE BRASCO made this.

I hope it's not the Mummy: part whatever. But looks fun.

This and Avatar are going to rock. I can feel it.

This trailer didn't do much for me at all, but I feel your love for Ava-bender. That movies looks alot better than i had any expectation of.

This looks identical to a Michael Bay film.

Since Michael Bay cut his teeth on Jerry Bruckheimer's (*ahem*), you might certainly feel that there's some production value crossover. Still, I feel like Bruckheimer sometimes produces WATCHABLE content but that Bay does not.

I saw no spinning cameras, therefore I fail to see your comparison!

I feel like with a better casted lead this movie would stand a chance. When I watch the trailers I see some lines that could be lifted straight from a Pirates movie, but because of Jake...and his complete lack of Johnny Depp-ness...they come off extremely flat.
  • This is a shockingly cool teaser. Nice delivery by Jake, "Give me the dagger!!" On a scale of 0-10, my expectations were probably at a 1, and have now risen to a 4ish. Could this actually be good fun?

Was that a fake british accent I heard from Jake?
  • jwsutts
    seems to be!!

I anticipate the fake accent distracting me more in trailers than when engrossed in the film.

Though Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock still bugged me a LITTLE with his a couple times during Sherlock soooooo who knows.

I was a hater after those early pics of Gyllenhaal surfaced last year. But I have to admit that this looks pretty good.
  • ChrisHarvey
It's going to be a CGI-fest... But hey hopefully it's good, right?
  • This has potential to be a very good film, but I'm not too optimistic. I don't know, but something tells me this movie won't be as good as it should. Hopefully I'm very wrong.

Also, when did this air? I definitely missed it during the game.

The best year was when they should the 2nd pirates film. My older cousin did not know there was going to be a 2nd one so he almost fell out of his chair. Also last year iron man was great also.

Iron Man was two years ago. Last year was when everyone was excited about the Transformers 2 trailer.
