The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Superbowl Commercial

Universal Studios will air the first television commercial for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the new theme park section of Universal’s Islands of Adventure which will launch in Spring 2010. The 30 second television spot is now available online, and is embedded below. But you didn’t expect it to feature any real footage of the still-in-construction park, did you?

This reminds me of when I was a kid and they had impossible stuff like that happen in the ads. If I was still a kid, I would scream at my parents because apparently, that theme park has A REAL DRAGON, and a FLYING BROOMSTICK!!! Also, I used to try to canonize these types of ads as a child. Harry is super depressed all the time, everyone he loves gets brutally murdered in front of him every year, but he still has time to work as a tour guide at his school/theme park. Wouldn't Harry rather flirt with girls than babysit those two kids?
I may not be as naive, but I'm still super nit-picky. This place looks cool though.

WHile I'm exited for the park as a Potter fan, that has to be some of the worst greenscreen work I have ever seen for a Superbowl commercial.
