I didn't realise how good the soundtrack of Alice In Wonderland was :)

Why is everyone so pissed off about this list of bands? Everyone on here is amazing! And I can totally see why these songs are in the movie. Tim Burton's version is dark and different and good. So are these bands/artists. They all have great sounds and have some connection with the movie whether you can see it or not. Besides, the movie was still amazing. And Avril's song is epic. I don't get why people are saying they hate her. You may dislike her music but you can't say you hate her as a person as you don't know her. Ditto for Miley Cyrus. Metro Station rock but they toured with Miley so Trace does do quite well from being related to her.

Love the movie, the album makes it SO MUCH BETTER!

  • Samuri1
Ok I just listened to all the songs listed. All of you might want to do the same before you even think of commenting. Im not a fan of some of these bands but I still thought all of these songs were amazing. Especially for the theme of this movie. To all of you who said that these songs are to focused on a different group......well have you seen Tim Burtons movies? There is a certain theme going on, and these songs fit the bill perfectly. Even if these songs are not on the soundtrack they do justice to the movie. I kinda hope more of them will be included in it. Also, stop bashing Avril. Shes been making a lot of good music. Even with her so busy. If you dont like these songs there is a good chance you wont like the movie.
  • Um what about nevershoutnever? i thought they weremaking a music video for this movie? or is that just on their own
i know they did perform at a concert with the bands listed above though.
  • VKEE

and im pretty sure everyone commenting about how great metro station, avril, and all other sh*t bands on this sad soundtrack, are probably all about 15 and dont know a whole lot about good music these days because thats all thats repeating on the radio. i cant really blame them. its still disgusting.
  • Aimee
Almost all of these songs are really good despite the artists.
The one I disliked the most was Avril Lavigne's song.
It made me want to see this movie ever more! :D
  • Natasha
IF YOU DON'T LIKE THIS STAY HOME!!!!
How can you base a movie on the performers of the songs on its soundtrack??!!!I mean i love Danny Elfman but just because he isn't singing & writing EVERY song doesn't mean the movie will be bad.Pay attention to the music, not who's singing it.
  • Metro Station rox my sox.
you fother muckers. you seriously need to stop hating so much on the fricken songs. i bet half of you havnt even made the effort to listen to the songs. i did and some songs arent the best but still. just stfu. i mean really why would you hate on AAR, All Time Low, Metro Station....wtf is wrong with you guys. And avril lavigne sings the main song because she wrote this fricken movie fother muckers.
  • Liz
Curious; I heard FF5 was doing a song for this soundtrack and I am confused as to where it has gone. "Topsy Turvy", right? I was looking forward to it too..
  • Devin
Their song is on the Hot Topic (I think) bonus track edition. Lame, I know.
  • Eric Kotorac
Come on, I won't by this. I'll by the motion picture soundtrack wit the film scores.

I am excited to see that All Time Low, 3OH!3, and Mark Hobbus w/Pete Wentz made the soundtrack. I cant wait to hear their songs on the soundtrack.
  • 3OH!3's Biggest Fan XD
3OH!3 <3 OMGG ... MY OBSESSION WITH THEM ... I LOVE THEM ... AND ALL TIM E LOW AND METRO STATION OMG XD cant wait for it to come out its got some amzing songs on there ... i downloaded 3oh!3 ft neon hitch - follow me down on limewire , and its amazing i cant stop listening to it xD great soundtracks xD <3
  • falalaa
Honestly, if the soundtrack hadn't been posted, I bet half of these negative comments wouldn't exist.
  • LOL
    Math skills for the win.
  • falalaa
    Haha, oh yes.

But honestly, people need to calm down; the soundtrack won't even appear in the movie, so why spend so much time hating the music selection if NO one is going to force you to listen to it? It's stupid to see comments like "this is going to be shit, since so-and-so is on it".

...if you dislike them that much, go waste your time watching paint dry then, idiot.
  • chastity
thank you!!! all people do is complain! nobodys making them listen to anything and there just complaining about everything they can think of!!!
  • Suitehart
This is just the soundtrack not the score. None of this music will be in the movie and if it is it'll be in the credits and whoever really sticks around to listen to the credits? Elfman will do an amazing job at the SCORE like he always does.
  • 3OH!3's Biggest Fan XD
    i do lol
  • Sabrinaaa <3
At leastt 3OH!3 is on there <3 . I know all of there songs , :D
  • Rae
This isn't the soundtrack for the movie. This is an album of songs inspired by the movie. The soundtrack will be just like any other Tim Burton movie with his interesting songs/sounds. The songs in this album will probably be featured in the credits.
  • I don't like this compilation... I don't hate Avril Lavigne but lately her work has been really bad... REALLY BAD, hope this song soun more like her first album.
    Hotyo Tokiel??? no way
Franz Ferdinand, cool, not great but cool
  • No. Just...no.

Except for Wolfmother and maybe Franz Ferdinand. They get a pass.
  • BehcetFML
Seriously i want to know why everyone is getting so wound up over this ,theres some of the best bands out there ATM on this soundtrack All American Rejects, Tokio Hotel, All Time Low, Motion City Soundtrack and sorry but did i see the musical legend that is Robert Smith there EXACTLY this is a soundtrack with songs that many people will like and the mood of the songs will fit to the film thats why its a soundtrack after all like seriously most of you can bitch about the bands on here but you most likely havent heard some of the songs they do so get off your high-chairs and stop judging people P.S with all them good artists and bands there FUCK KNOWS why avril lavinge is doing the main song :|
  • Me
I wouldn't go as far as calling those the best bands ever lol. The best musician on here is probably Mark Hoppus.
  • Zach
Why are so many people getting excited about Avril Lavigne. She's awful
  • your stupid avril is awsome
  • APRIL.
What the fuck is this shit?
  • jake91
I cannot wait for this film to come out so it can disappear quickly.
  • I seriously doubt that any of these songs will feature in the movie (other than in the credits). While Burton has been sold out to the Hot Topic crowd by other people as of late, it's never affected his actual work. From the trailers, I really don't see a place for any music in this film other than Elfman's score. No need to worry.
