Lost is one of those rare shows where even the crappy filler episodes are highly enjoyable.

Just finished my second plow through all the blurays and I'm geeking out bad for this final season.
  • viobot
Just wait 2 weeks friend: here it comes.
  • Lost is the best tv show at the moment, were upto seasons 5 now and i'm hoping there is going to be a sixth season.

    Shows gotta end!
    Especially after long runs!
Burning 'em out ruins the whole experience.

It is awesome when a show "ENDS"; especially when the talent puts together a finale that ranks among (or is) the best episodes of the series!

Case in point (two awesome shows going into final season):
Six Feet Under - Sweet Success!
    Battlestar Galactica - Epic Fail!

When a show ends like crap it sure can ruin your warm feelings.
    SFU = joy.
    Battlestar = ick.

    "Ben helps out"
Dude, that one makes peeing on the pants a very easy job :D

there's always a major recap before every season premiere, that means the story has been dragging for too long, and the creators themselves agree. They slap themselves in the faces!
  • @Narration..Anyone had to think of Portal's GladOS?

    There is no cake.

    Very sad.
  • The cake is a lie.

I never saw the show. I didn't like the premise, but when I heard that it was more than Gilligan's Island - Drama, it was kinda late to get into it. I had no idea what was going on, so I couldn't follow the show, and fell asleep. The recap is funny for those who have seen the show, but for newbies, it was confusing (if it were slower, maybe). It was definitely made for fans, not newbies. Although, it did help explain a lot of the show for me, it wasn't enough that I care about season 6. I didn't realize that they planned the show, beginning to end. If I knew that 5 years ago, I would have watched the show (no Greatest Show Ever for 3 years, then massive suckery toward the end). I'll try to catch up on hulu, but it'll get taken down. Netflix, here I come!
  • To be honed, it was kind of confusing to me too, even though I've seen all the episodes.

anyone notice that at the very beginning the reflection on the water is of a skyline and not a mountain?

Lost has some of the best writing I've ever seen on television. BSG is its close second and anything else doesn't come close. It's all about trying to figure out the mysteries. Lost goes beyond being a show-it's a friggin' experience just Thinking about it.

    "Very sad". LOL.
Anyway I cannot wait for the final season!! I hope Channel 7 over here in Australia puts it at an earlier timeslot :D
  • "...it's a french woman...speaking french" WOW ...the "greatness" of this recap show perfectly how good is the script... how to put it... it sucks...
  • jameschelliah
beautiful irony! A person insults a form of (supposedly) sucky writing with his own (definite) form of sucky writing, while completely managing to miss the humour in the video, at the same time! Lovely stuff! People like you make my days easier to digest.

"Ben helps out." LOL, best line.

I cannot wait for the last season to start but at the same time I never want it to end.
  • My favorite line was "sun has her bebe."

So, 8 min to cover the important stuff from 5 seasons...glad I didn't waste 5 seasons watching. Will be glad when it is gone and my RSS reader isn't constantly jammed with LOST pimping.
  • maybe you should give the show a chance before you blindly bash something people really enjoy. its on Netflix watch instantly so you don't have to pay anything.
  • Why subscribe to RSS feeds about Lost?
  • Flint Ironstag
Nice...same narrator that did the "What The Frak" recap for BSG.
  • I'm currently in a heated debate with my roommate. The main argument is whether or not to see the episodes on a weekly basis or be inhumanly patient and use a weekend at the end of the season to go through all of them. I'm torn. On one hand it is amazing being able to just rip through the entire thing (did that with season 4), on the other hand, it's fucking Lost and I need my fix.
  • Watch it as it comes. Frustrating as it can be, there's nothing more fun than cliff hangers, wondering what happens next, theorizing with chaps like us on the internet, going "What the fuck just happened?!"
  • True. :D However, being able to go "What the fuck just happened?", then talk about it with some mates and then immediately get the relief of being able to put on the next episode is pretty damn satisfying as well.
  • If you wait until the season is done you WILL have it spoiled. This is why I caved and watched s4 of Dexter early instead of waiting for the DVD to hit, and boy am I glad I did, because I saw the big spoilers for it online a few days ago.
  • Well, I managed to stay unspoiled during the 4th season.
  • ROFL
holy shit that looks like the gayest show ever
  • cactus
There's only one gay character on the show - and he plays a minor roll. Get your facts straight kid.
  • Unless your answers are "Cheers," "Seinfeld," "Freeks & Geeks," or "Dexter," LOST is better than any show you've ever seen.

Of course it's a matter of opinion, but there has never been a show that spanned all genres and kept its' stance in the face of crisis. No other show will have kept its' audience invested long enough with a planned end date.

Sometimes it can be too smart which is why certain people feel alienated by it. I'm not calling those people dumb, but if it's not a dramatized hospital show, or a trippy cartoon, or something where they get all their answers in one episode, then they tune out.

Then again, my goat mask might be the gayest thing you've ever seen too!
  • maybe he saw The Wire because lets be honest LOST is good... The Wire is the best.
  • amendoza
Jesus. Get over yourself. "Sometimes it can be too smart . . ."

I watch Lost. I get Lost. It's not too smart.
  • no, but it is the gayest goat mask i've ever seen.
  • Exception: there is a smart dramatized hospital show. It is called House, and it is almost as good as Lost. That is all.
  • jcossota
I'm a HUGE fan of House, but it's nowhere near the brain-sploding, orgasmic ball of excellence that is LOST.
  • mack41
i'll say it. those people are dumb. straight up full retard
  • MonsterKilledThePilot
Well said, my friend. Well said.

"Mr Friendly throws like a girl."
    I cannot wait.
  • i love that bit. i wonder how him throwing like a girl plays into the whole story...
  • Flip175
it does sort of, as it's revealed later that Mr. Friendly is gay
  • haha that was cool, great vid and funny narrator.

i've been watching the show since the beginning, but only once, so i pretty much forgot most of this. pretty crazy to see how much has happened. i may not understand it all but i can't wait to see the final season.
  • Roland21
Btw i love the irony in this video (the screen turn to white instead of black, cool). Lost is a great show, i'm sad it will end this year!
  • Royal
    Or will it??
  • yeah I would not be surprised in the least if season 6 ended and the final twist was SEASON 7!
  • DorienG
WTF did I just watch? Never seen an episode of Lost before, but that was kinda cool...def gonna give it another look later.
  • I'm curious to know about the effectiveness of this video, since they tried to cram hundreds of confusing hours into 8 minutes. If you were to start watching season 6 would you have the SLIGHTEST idea what was going on?
  • I think the video is a recap for people who have already seen the episodes but just need a remind what has happened because some people just watch it when it airs on tv so something might not be as fresh in their minds as say someone who just bought season 5.
