We get THOR movie news almost daily nowadays. The Green Lantern movie.. just fan-made stuff :(

I liker the retro-40s look for Carol and how they managed to make one of those cheap plastic giveaway promo GL rings look good in the one shot.

DC is gonna make marvel films look like saturday morning cartoons in comparison.

Yeah, can't wait for that epic, gritty Plastic Man movie.

As impressed as I am, I'll never understand why people go to the trouble of making stuff like this. Waste of time and money.

the person who did this fan-made trailer is trying to be a film director i checked this person youtube page and he got a show reel of his work. so for him to do this fan-made trailer it would be great for his portfolio

i doubt he has the rights to use the green lantern for that, or that he'd want to.

he can do whatever he wants, as long as he doesn't try to make any money off of this movie. as a calling card it does work sometimes.

he can do a Green Lantern fan-made trailer but if he makes money out of the Green Lantern brand WB will take action. anyone can make a fan-made trailer but it got to be a non-profit project.

While the video is decent, and pretty much captures the originals very nicely in less then two mins I'm very worried that WB will mess up the actual movie so the fan made trailers are nice but they get my hopes up too high and when I'll go see the movie I'll probably be thinking "they should have gotten those fan guys to make the movie". I'm not a huuuuuuuge DC fan, I try to keep up with the general stories of what's going on, even tho it's confusing as **** sometimes, but I always wished they would make some decent DC films and beyond batman it doesn't seem likely which is a complete shame.

That last shot with the guy in the actual Green Lantern suit was so fucking cheesy, I cringed.

Movie starts shooting this Spring in New Orleans. Rumored Pirates 4 might be coming too!

I thought that was really cool! I liked the effects for the most part and it was shot pretty nicely too and all that stuff. I will agree that the ending shot with the costume looked a little weird but they put some hard work into this and it showed. I was impressed by the crash-hole with the fire, looked good.
