brothersposterThe /Filmcast: After Dark is a recording of what happens right after The /Filmcast is over, when the kids have gone to bed and the guys feel free to speak whatever is on their minds. In other words, it’s the leftover and disorganized ramblings, mindfarts, and brain diarrhea from The /Filmcast, all in one convenient audio file. In this episode, actor Clifton Collins Jr. stops by to chat with Dave Chen, Devindra Hardawar, and Adam Quigley about his experiences on the sets of Extract, Crank: High Voltage, Brothers, and The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, which is out in theaters now. Brothers hits theaters on December 4th, 2009. Guest Matt Singer from IFC News and the IFC News Podcast also joins us for this episode.

Very good stuff. I listened to this live and loved how Clifton offered so much in what seemed like so little time. It also made me very interested to see his work in Brothers and watch his roles in Star Trek and Crank 2 a little closer next time. I'm not even sure I knew it was him amongst all the Romulan make-up when I saw it in theatres.

So I hope the great work continues, both for Clifton and you guys.

I'm so glad that you guys didn't leave out the character of Rupert from Rules of Attraction. Clifton did a crazy ass job on that psycho; i'm glad someone like that didn't live in my college town!

Anyway, great show as always and looking forward to Brothers and the 2012 review.
  • Nice episode.
  • Another great show with Clifton Collins, Jr. Thanks for having him back. He's such a talented and intellectual actor. He also offers great insights into the business of Hollywood.

I love your podcast! Thanks for having Clifton Collins JR back...Everytime I hear that guy on the show it makes me want to go watch one of his films.
    Keep up the great work!
  • I'm really sorry, I love your work guys, but this was the first time I had to turn it off: no offense to Clifton and his body of work, he's a great actor, but I couldn't stand listening to him, was somehow annoying...
