Go /Filmcast! You've had Rian Johnson, Michael Dougherty, and now Richard Kelly. Great directors three weeks in a row! I can't way to see what Kelly is like.
  • okayflint
my god you guys have been nailing it with the guests lately holy crap. Can't wait to listen to this one on the way home from work in the morning
  • Kyle C.
Hell yea, I love Richard Kelly, great guest! By the way if your reading this Mr. Kelly, Southland Tales was a cool film and Donnie Darko is one of my all time faves, can't wait for The Box.
  • As the small trending topic on Twitter say's "I LIKED Southland Tales. Everyone should just deal with it."

And great show as always /film. Can't wait to see The Box and join the discussion next monday night.

You guys aren't reviewing An Education. Shame on you guys
  • okayflint
you know, it's probably better for them to review movies like the box every once in awhile over films like an education. not reallly a good idea to have movies like antichrist and a serious man, mr. film snob
  • Josh
why not review it over 2012. the reason is it is my favorite film of the year. it needs all the help it can get from a show like this. i am all for reviewing the box.
  • okayflint
I don't think An Education needs all that much help, it seems like entertainment weekly finds a way to mention it every week and it'll get plenty of buzz during the awards season. I would think the podcast needs the help of reviewing more mainstream films every once in awhile over small films that may only interest a smaller group. An Education is awesome though. I'm just glad they didn't dedicate a podcast to reviewing boondock saints 2

Great guests so far! I hope Rian Johnson comes back so he can make fun of Dave some more.
  • cambion
Listening to David Chen say "I hope you guys like cock sandwiches because we're going to be eating them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!" really made my day.
  • robb3d
    awesome review guys
  • stephen_macauley
I love the discussions! You should think about making sure that the guests have seen the films you are discussing though (I.E. "Saw 6"). It was cool to hear Richard Kelly talking. "The Box" was so awesome!! Interesting and different and insane.
  • filmcave

Enjoyed this podcast very much & was especially pleased to hear Richard Kelly's thoughts & opinions. Hope you guys get to continue to produce the show & also have the opportunity to invite such special guests like Richard Kelly. I would listen regardless, but it's great to hear you guys interact with people immersed in the business. Keep up the great work y'all!
  • Woo! Loved hearing Richard Kelly-- and of course all your guests are great; Rian Johnson, Mike Dougherty, Steven Tobolowsky... Thanks, guys!

Excellent episode. Richard Kelly was a great guest. After the show I ordered Donnie Darko and Southland Tales on BluRay. I was going to order the graphic novel on Amazon but it wasn't shipping for 2-4 months. I haven't seen Southland tales yet, so I'm excited to see it.
  • Plite

Really enjoyed this and all the other podcasts you guys do. Listen to you guys at school and its the best movie podcast by far. Love your insights and the "what you been watching" segments is great. Director Kelly was great on the show, keep getting more
  • Aquigley
I have listened since episode 1 and I have to say that this is the best yet.

All of you reviewed and discussed everything intelligently and with good points and Richard Kelly was an excellent guest.

    10/10

PS: Adam Quigley is a racist

    >implying I am not serious
  • Wow, you guys got Richard Kelly on the show... Nice! :)
  • Alyssa
I've been a listener for about half a year now and I also thought Richard Kelly was a great guest. I haven't seen his films (my bad), but his appearance on the show made me decide to give it a shot. I was pretty impressed with him as a person, especially how diplomatic he was in his comments. If the whole film career doesn't work out (but I hope it does), I think he'd make a great U.S. ambassador. :P

I agree with the other commenters that you've had some really great guests lately. It always makes me want to check out more of their films.
