I like the taste of the trailer a LOT. I like that we see some familiar faces, that we seen some other familiar faces (from other shows) and it looks like this last hat in the proverbial ring is going to be a good solid period in the sentence of 24. I'm in and ready to review for sure via our 24Podcast.Com effort.

how many years have gone by now in the show's timeline?

I think it is about 120 years if my calculations are correct. Actually in all seriousness, it is closer to 15-20. It was 18 months between day one and two, 3 years between two and three, 2 between three and four, 18 months between day 4 and day 5, 10 months between day 5 and day 6, and 3 1/2 years between day six and day 7. By my calculations, it is 13 years, 4 months. I don't know what the time difference between day 7 and day 8 yet, but you gotta assume it is a decent amount of time since Jack is fully recovered.

Day 7 and 8, AFAIK, are eight months apart.

8 months seems a little short considering that Kim's daughter is able to hold a conversation.

how can people be against this show? its a great action/drama and gets complaints while there is shit like vampire diaries, supernatural... well pretty much everything on the CW

I agree about the whole 24 getting complaints and my question would be why are they on here looking at the trailer if they are just going to talk trash about the show oh thats right they have no life...as for supernatural it is a really good show ive followed it from day 1 and im unsure about the vampire diaries its ok i guess but i dont know if ill continue to follow it much longer and it prolly wont be put one my shelf with the rest of my series that i own

I love this show, and like the other person said, " if you don't like it, why are you here ?" I think the problem we have here is EXACTLY the problem we have in the real life which is lack of grooming the next generation. We are still with the mentality of John Wayne coming to rescue, vs. a team of dedicated people. We keep hearing about terror cells. what that means is there are always more than one. it is not and can not be just ONE person saving America or saving the world ! We must realize this and move to the next level. There are both Americans and foreigners who are dedicated to their core and there are those who are traitors. We do not have the exclusivity to patriotism. and this show, even though I LOVE IT, and will watch it and its reruns, must prepare the next group of good guys who are intelligent, dedicated and can not be bought. As a very small example, we can all remember Elliot Ness and his group, or NCIS for our more modern group. bad guys are always dime a dozen, good guys will inspire.

I must say that 24 is the best series ever that will be produce by hollywood till end of time. My melancholy is the fact that the series will soon come to an end. I would sincerely appeal to the producers to write more stories and keep the series going for another couple of episodes. 24s current situation simulation, real life reality, action and fastness is unparelell so far. Keep it up and bravo to all the actors and producers as well as the fans.

24 is the best show ever!!!! and probably better than a lot of movies that are produced in LA.

Enjoyed the series greatly. Wife & I watched it together over a few weeks/months. It is awesome to be able to watch the series in such a way without having to wait weeks for the TV show to develop.

I love 24 and I think it's one of the best tv shows ever made, I have all the seasons on dvd as well well as the movie redemption, I just hope that when it does finally come to an end, that the shows writers do not kill him off as that would be a huge mistake and a true disappointment to the diehard fans like myself.

Our family has enjoyed every season and I know we won't be disappointed with this one either. Thanks for keeping us interested and in suspense.
We read numerous books and enjoy having an edge on the seat show w/o cursing or sex. Keifer is awesome! Hats off to the writers and all associated with this production!

For all those spewing the neagtive crap about 24 and Jack Bauer ,go watch you stupid reality shows. And to blarg Lost is a modern but sreious version of Gilligan's Island. The only probelm is it is not near as good there is no actress as hot as Maryanne.
And if you hate 24 then why would you bother to wate time looking the trailer or blogging here. You hate to admit you love it :)
