Cool Stuff: Alamo’s Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween and Beetlejuice Posters

We’ve featured many of the Alamo Drafthouse commissioned movie posters in past editions of cool stuff. Today Mondo has released three posters for the Drafthouse’s Halloween series of films: Beetlejuice, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and John Carpenter’s Halloween. Unfortunately, the posters were very popular and sold out minutes after going on sale. But you can still check out the digital images after the jump.

    I wish I'd pulled the trigger on the H'ween and Elm St. posters when I saw them really early this morning. Those are excellent.

    Protip for some of these poster sellouts -- check the website for the artist or studio that did the actual work. A lot of times they'll have their own allotment for sale. Those often linger a bit longer after Mondo sells out.

    I like the Halloween the most.

    funny..when you see posters like these, it makes me cringe when you see official movie posters for a film like Sherlock Holmes. Or worse yet, Takers. Seriously, photoshop and illustrator (or canvas art) are being taught everywhere now, so I think we're too sophicated for badly photoshoped final sheets.
