The A-Team

/Film reader Dr. Malo sent over the first official photo from Joe Carnahan’s big screen adaptation of The A-Team. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Liam Neeson as Col John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as Sgt Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus. The film is currently in production, aiming for a June 11th 2010 release. Check out the full uncropped photo after the jump, click to enlarge.

You can't say that until you see the movie. The old team is the old team. Would you rather see an old sean Connery as James Bond Or the young physically capable Daniel Craig? Things change, accept it

I think from the trailer that BA .. is not BA.

he is too emotional.. talking about how he missed his baby the van... then saying "Sucks to be you .. homey"... what is all of that about.

BA is silent.. HARD.... no funny one liners... HE IS THE JOKE.. a lot of the time becasue hes so BAD ASS and unengaging that he is on the outside of the team in his own way..

This aint BA.... too bad...

He is one of the funniest guys I've ever heard speak who wasn't a professional comedian. Some of the things he says outside the ring are surprisingly good. With a decent script (which is the part I'm the most afraid of for this movie) and decent direction (that plays to his strengths) he really could steal the show. At any rate he can't be any worse than the scrawny rapper that I heard they wanted to cast.

I almost did not recognize Liam Neeson he looked for a half a sec like George Peppard. My only question is will they be shooting off crazy rounds of ammo and not hit anything like the tv show lol. Still not made up my mind on this yet since I loved the show has a kid. Will wait till the trailer comes out to make up my mind. But all of them look great in the pic.

koay what ever you way Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is a weird casting :) he is not an actor thought he is a good actor in UCF. BUT casting him in the same size as MR T did the role.. hey if you rite it you self you know whats up ol dirty basterd..! but grats...

Look actually pretty decent. The Cast i mean, not the background. The Background looks like it was made by a guy who has no idea about Zhe Power of Photoshop.

I think they need to absolutely lay on the camp here. I love the dark/serious adaptations, remakes, and reboots we've been getting (ala Dark Knight, Alice in Wonderland) but this needs to be campy and trashy and awesome.

lol exactly :) brilliant quote mate! this will be a top film if two things are done.. like everyone else has said .. direction and storyline are on form... quentin i think will add a comedic side to the film, hes a comic in his own right. Again brilliant idea for the cast!
