HowItShouldHaveEnded.com has created a new animated short film showing how the Terminator series “should have ended.” The result is an epic mash-up of Back to the Future and Terminator… Great Scott! Watch the video embedded after the jump.

That was too cool! The voice was actually good. I would love to see a full feature of this but good things are better as fan film trailers, like 'Grayson'.
  • jay
that was surprisingly good...I want to see this movie now
  • Good Video but This is my theory why Skynet never sends a Terminator before T1 is because it wouldn't have existed if they did. The whole reason Skynet was made was because of the events in T1 right?
  • scott
yeah thats my thinking as well. Although I'm sure McG could find a way.

Sorry didn't mean to start the McG hating.

also in some theories of time travel you can't go back in time further than when the time machine was created, it could be that in the terminator universe you can't go back before a key (unknown) development in cyberdyne

Or it could just be a movie with no real theory behind it. It is an action film afterall.
  • Do not think about it. Do never ever think about it. It will blow your mind.
  • I'd immediately buy a ticket if this were to be released as a movie. Great work.
  • bomberman
I'll be in minority on this one but... I found that to be painfully unfunny.
  • NickyG
    Agreed
  • Ashitaka
Yeah, too convoluted. Nice animation and voice acting though.
  • fanboy_d
    that's their best one ever
  • This was alright. Too bad the rest of their stuff doesn't come close to being as interesting or entertaining. Still, a brilliant concept.

    When Alien's attack was great!
  • rsolem
WAIT...wouldnt the good guys want to kill doc brown, not the bad terminators? I mean it's the good guys like John and Sarah that need to stop the creation of time travel so no terminators can be sent back...am I correct?
  • rockinrors
If this was made into a full length live action, I would cry.
  • mbkerr
How it should have ended? Hell, this is how they should continue BOTH series!
  • mchops
This was better than T Salvation.
  • Hahahaha......that would have saved us from watching "Terminator 3"

I think you mean 4. Don't get started on the 3 hate. At least 3 still made sense. 4 was just a mess!

McG better be booted from the franchise for a director that can handle a franchise of this magnitude.
  • I haven't seen Salvation yet, so I can't say. I will have to say that 3, even if it did make sense, could have been better. Salvation, I read, was suppose to be another character as the main one, and John had a cameo. Christian Bale read it, and changed it to John being the main. That is the reason Salvation sometimes doesn't make sense.
  • Woah Woah T4 is marginally better then T3. T3 to show it's stupidity watch the deleted scene of Arnold with a Southern Accent. They we're going to put that scene in the movie but realized it wouldn't work with continuity so made it as a gag. The reason why skynet is built is just... bad. I always thought they should of skipped t3 and just show the future war. and it would of been like a prequel. But No T3 felt the urge to continue the story.

Seems like they tried way too hard with this one. I found the other ones to be a lot more funny.

This is actually a pretty good idea.

There should be more Hollywood movies that mash-up than just Predators V. Aliens.
  • kzap
Is it odd that I REALLY want to see that movie.
It will probably be better than the last 2 Terminator films.
  • That really isn't something hard to achieve.
