Apparition has released a new, and possibly final, movie trailer for the blaxploitation callback Black Dynamite on Yahoo. Watch the new trailer now after the jump, and leave your thoughts in the comments below.


Black Dynamite is the love child of writer/star Michael Jai White and writer/director Scott Sanders. Here’s the plot:

This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

    this movie is not making fun about black people its making fun out of them old 70s Blaxploitation movies. TF2 was dumb, having Sam's mum high on pot like she did not know what was the special brownies, Twins was dumb stereotype, having a college full of hot girls that never happens.

    I have seen Black Dynamite and NOBODY will be disappointed! I found it to be even more fun than the trailer would have me expect. Pure FUN. You can tell that they had a blast shooting this flick. I heard that they shot it all with low budget camera equipment and NO VIDEO MONITORS! LOL! Goddamn, you guys are gonna love it.

    Saw it twice at the Seattle Film Festival this year. It's funny from beginning to end. It's all the best parts of 70's Blaxplotation wrapped up into one film that is so funny because the actors take themselves so seriously and the movie doesn't. Brilliant, rewatchable, bring friends.

This trailer looks COMPLETELY different from the original red band trailer (not the second red band trailer, which this one pretty much looks like). The original red band trailer looked like it was picked up right out of a grindhouse theater. Was that just a spec trailer or something?
