I’ve heard people say that almost everything is better with LEGOs. The Star Wars prequels? yes. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? possibly. LEGO Rock Band? ….? How about LEGO Ninja Assassin?

During Comic-Con, Warner Bros released the first trailer for James McTeigue’s Ninja Assassin. If you haven’t seen it yet, click here. Over the weekend I received a link to the same trailer recreated in stop motion animation by Keshen using legos. The short animated reenactment is actually very well put together. Check it out now after the jump.

    Plenty of swords in the Pirate sets. However, I think here's a pretty good chance that the weapons in the clip are from BrickArms.

    Before Legos got nerf'd for the young kids, there was the Ninja set. It included Ninja Swords, masks, and even ninja flying gear. It was pretty awesome.

    damn. I've seen a buncha LEGO videos, and most of them are clunky. As a LEGO nerd, I have to say that should be the standard by which LEGO videos should now be measured. Kudos to the animator.
  • That was actually a lot more entertaining and easier to follow than the original trailer.

    hows thats much more easier to follow than the original trailer its basically the same trailer but this one is just legos
  • It wasn't as dark and murky and the clearly defined shapes and colors of the legos made it much easier to grasp the action/content in some of the split second cuts. That's how.

    in the actually trailer you still can grasp the action and content if you watched or download the HD trailer from Ninja Assassin website

    i agree this is not dark and murky like the actually trailer but you can tell whats going on. this lego trailer is so good that every scene is the same as the actually trailer these guys took time to study the real Ninaj Assassin trailer and i give my props to them

    this kid, who i think is from Queensland, Australia has a bunch of amazing lego clips... check his vimeo account (keshen) and watch his dark knight trailers and his bourne ultimatum fight scene...

    also, his short film sandwich shows alot of talent as well!
