Comic-Con: District 9 MNU Truck and 2012 Viral Billboards

MNU District 9 truck

After arriving in San Diego, I’ve been enjoying the Gaslamp district before it gets over-run with comic, television and movie geeks (oh, and Twilight fanatics too). I’ve noticed a couple things around the convention center that I thought was worth sharing. Above is a photo of the MNU truck on one side of the Convention Center (near the Marriott). After the jump we have more, as well as some viral billboards for 2012 in the Gaslamp area.

    just got back from seeing "moon" great movie but that's not why i am posting here. my brother works for mann theatres and he said last thursday fox had a screening of avatar(not the m. night one) for the fox exec's!! and cameron was there too!! he said at first the theater it was showed in was scheduled for a screening of ice age 3 but there was security there and no one got in without a security pass.

    When did "viral" become synonymous with "maybe a little bit ambiguous"? There is not only nothing interesting about that poster, but it does not at all communicate the tone or message of the film that it obviously promotes.
