Leonard Nimoy spoke with Star Trek Communicator about the prospects of him returning for a Star Trek sequel: “I have no illusions on whether or not they need me. They decided that they wanted to make this film using Spock as kind of an anchor for the story, which I think worked very, very well. They don’t have to do that again. If they decide they have a role for me to play, I would be very interested in talking to them about it. But I have every reason to believe that they have established a whole new set of characters, and they can sail very well without me, and that’s fine. Either way is good with me. I am very gratified that this has happened.”

  • OSCAR
    first
  • Why?
  • Harry Potter
He made fun of Ron. Don't fuck with Harry's friends or you get banned.
  • jonny
    I Need those Chop sabers!
  • madsilver
i love page 2 a whole bag of goodies i say
  • John
Just wanted to say thank you for these 'page 2' posts. They're always awesome reads.
  • i dont know whether to be excited or not about Jennifer's Body. that poster looks pretty damn awesome though.
  • Just your basic porn poster
  • CheshireAna
    Seriously. Design-wise, it's awful.
  • So, that Ulitmate Collectors' Edition will be in bluray? (I'm assuming from the name of the blog). Because if it is, then so much for Christmas.
  • Dan W
Yea I was wondering the same thing. I can't see it not being in bluray. But if it is in bluray than I would think it would be fewer than 5 disks because they can fit more on blurays. Unless it's just that much more stuff, but I doubt it.
  • That Poster of Halloween II is just horrible.
  • starscream9289
How much is that Watchmen set gonna be worth?
  • My bet is 99,99$.
  • Definitely waiting for the watchmen collectors edition instead of getting the directors cut. No point in having both.
  • Yeah I have been holding off for the same reason
  • presto117
supposedly the ultimate edition lacks some features like that zack snyder super-awesome commentary thing.
  • if that were true it would suck. i'd probably just rent watchmen blu ray of netflix or something for to check that feature later on.
  • GreatBigLion
I don't have Blu-Ray, so the Ultimate Edition DVD will be good enough. Also, has it been confirmed that Maximum Movie Mode won't be in?

Even so, the Ultimate Edition news was great; I deleted my Amazon order just in time.
  • Ryan
Just a quick (and sad) note, the "Ultimate Watchmen" release will NOT include certain special features in this month's release, most notable the Maximum Movie Movie...so much for ultimate
  • Dan W
Damn. Us consumers can never win! Now I'm torn between the two. And also it will be very hard to wait until december.
  • skippy
that "life-size" Optimus Prime is not nearly half as cool as that truly LIFE-SIZE Gundam in Japan:

    HOLY FUCKING JENNIFERS BODY POSTER.

    Speechless.
    too fucking hot.
  • joel_curran
What is with The Weinstein Co and they're terrible poster designs for the new Halloween?
  • Justin
i wonder how warner brothers justifies releasing three different versions of watchmen in the same year?

"B-but, it only made 100m domestically, we need our money back." What a bunch of greedy pigs. At least have the decency to wait a year before you fuck people out of their money, like New Line and the extended cuts.
  • arthera09
I was really looking forward to the Star Wars MMORPG, but if Lucas is highly involved I think that scares me a little bit.
  • Feuer
Haha, like the Harry Potter clip, Broadbent is always great.
  • jason B
-how gracious, down to earth, cool, and honest is leonard nimoy?cool f-ing guy.

-how unbelievably hot is MLP? dammit!

-i hope the heder show will be on cable, it could follow in the success of EBAD.

-hopefully lucas will be too busy with the video game to ruin the TV series.

-nice to hear people still know how to admit when their wrong - its a RARE fukin thing. cheers to that guy.
  • jason B
i can't believe how completely off their ass SPLASH is on their 5 spidey villians. no lizard, and the other 3 they got are bottom of the barrel. morlun?!?! seriously?

the sinister 6 would be cool if they were spread out over 2 films, but if they jammed em all into part 4, it'd more likely than not be a car accident.
  • Those clip-on 3D shades are exactly what I need! As someone who wears glasses and more nearsighted in one eye than the other, it's impossible to use regular 3D glasses. I'm glad someone came up with these.
  • TheMarquis
I'd much rather have James Cameron's 3D contacts, but even these would be better than sticking a pair over my own.
  • TheMarquis
Mary Louise-Parker. Goddamn. That'll play on loop for a while.
  • Bob
Cool 500 Days of Summer poster. I mentioned it in the "500 Days of Summer Release Schedule" comments section. For some reason, my comment was never approved. Still, I'm glad to see the buzz continuing on this great film. I hope Summer grabs a couple of nominations at next year's Oscars.
  • Jon Heder will forever be known as Napoleon Dynamite. It is a role he will never be able to live down.
  • Brian
Mary Louise Parker can read me bedtime stories anyday :)
  • Fir3Wolf
Thanks for the heads up on the Watchmen Ultimate Edition. I would've been kinda pissed that I'd have to double dip 5 months later. Also those saber chop sabers are all kinds of win.
  • Is that Optimus Prime for sale?
  • I really want the Watchmen Director's Cut that comes out in a few weeks. But then again, I really want the ultimate edition that comes out in December. oh what to do. Oh yeah, does anyone know how much the ultimate edition will cost?
  • Weyland_Yutani
That might be the worst Halloween poster ever committed to internet.
  • topheavy
Who here wants to bet that Halloween 2 is going to suck?
