Road Trip II: Beer Pong Movie Trailer

Some people have pointed out that The Hangover could be looked at as a spiritual sequel to one of director Todd Phillips‘ previously released comedies, Road Trip. I mention this because a sequel to Road Trip is not only in the works, but its been shot, edited, and will be released in August. Of course, I’m talking about one of those crappy DVD spin-off sequels.

Road Trip II: Beer Pong is directed by Steve Rash, the same guy who directed Son in Law and recently found a consistent paycheck directing a series of direct-to-dvd sequels fr the American Pie and Bring it On series. Of course, the previously mentioned Todd Phillips has no involvement in this cash grab, and DJ Qualls (The New Guy) seems to be the only original cast member to return. What, Tom Green wasn’t available? Watch the terribly unfunny trailer, after the jump.

  • So I really didn't like Road Trip at all, probably due in part that I saw Todd Phillips other films before this one. However it was still a lot better and I'm sure funnier then this straight to dvd piece of crap.

    This is simple peeps... This movie isnt going to hit the theaters... a la no distribution costs which is $$$$$. It was always intened for direct to DVD from the beginning which is very inexpensive. It'll probably sell 1-2million copies and make the producers a lot of easy money. The content of this movie was never a concern nor was casting anyone from the first Road Trip.... all they needed was the name recognition of the title, which the original provided.
  • As someone who plays Beer Pong on a professional level, I hate how movies like this turn something awesome into a god awful turd. Go pick on something else Road Trip, leave Beer Pong alone.

    this reminds me of when i was in the store and asked someone to find withouth a paddle and this obese lady came up and said "correction, its without a paddle: NATURES CALLING" i wanted to slap her in the face and drop kick her into yesterday

    I personally loved the movie road trip and will be excited to watch this sequel. I will not judge any movie until I actually SEE IT. And as far as DJ Qualls goes, he is a hillarious person and as far as I know his career is going farther than you peoples. How many movies have you made now? What?What was that? Oh none. What are you people 17 years old. Trust me you don't know anything yet, so shut your complaining mouths.
