  • I was really wondering if that was his real penis in that picture. Great movie either way, though. The Asian from Pineapple Express and Role Models was great.

I'm actually excited to see if the Airbender trailer actually looks good or looks as bad as the Dragonball and Street Fighter trailers did. (Or the G.I. Joe trailer for that matter)

And, in addition to Ray Park, Heroes has also added Robert Knepper of Prison Break (As T-Bag) fame. I'm more interested in him than Ray Park though having Ray Park does ensure some amazing fight scenes in the fourth season.
  • That's right, first!

I would vote for Nottingham as title.
  • what kind of background does it take to become a master LEGO builder?
  • jason B
    lol
  • ----
I see MGMT is continuing to stick with their "throw as much random shit into the video" formula as much as ever.
  • Agreed. I like the first bit though.
  • jason B
there's an interview with the MGMT guys in SPIN from a few months back...i gotta tell you those guys came off as the biggest couple of pompous cocksuckers i've ever read about. fuck them and their one hit wonder music. tintori seems to have a promising career though.
  • Yeah but some of those one hit wonders are damn good.
  • tom.
uh... what does one hit wonder mean? I thought it had something to do with 'one hit'.
  • Too bad MGMT has had like 3 hits already. As annoying as the craze over them has become, their music is good.
  • dagreenman18
Yes, but the music is still fucking awesome.
  • Thrillhouse
That Galifinaikis penis thing is pretty sjocking, actually. It blurs the line between rated-R and pornographic, certainly - whether it was fake in real life or not.

Now, I personally couldn't care less about it, but someone like my MOTHER - who will watch rated-R films, but has no tolerance for pornographic material - would find something like that unacceptable.

Sure, she probably isn't watching a raunchy comedy like The Hangover, but when the lines blur into dramatic pieces it may become a problem. Even if prosthetics are used - if the intent is to depict sexually graphic scenes with genitalia - I can see where the problems would arise. Risky business indeed.

I mean, I used to watch rated-R comedies as a kid. Was that right? Probably not. But I think there would be an even bigger issue with sexually-graphic stuff being available in mainstream rated-R movies.
  • Ha, Sacha Baron Cohen is being sude for Bruno and it hasn't even came out yet!
  • I vote Nottingham as well.

That LA Times article on Miachel Giacchino was great!
  • Palmer
Knife Thrower? Hope that it's just a description and not the character's actual name.

Ugh, SAW 8, and that's not going to be the real end to the series.

Van Wilder prequel really isn't needed.

Josh Friedman's blog post is funny but still makes me said since T:TSCC is still canceled.

And that Sacha Baron Cohen lawsuit is just hilarious. I'd imagine more will come soon.
  • superozy
the quote from the kids video is from Friedrich niche, not Mark fucking twain AHHHHH! Fucking awesome video tho, best so far this year
  • frank
Maybe Josh Friedman should have wrote better stories and not shit all other the Terminator canon, then maybe he wouldn't have had to feel so bad about it being cancelled
  • actually I'm pretty sure I read that you have to have an engineering degree.
  • sude?
  • Dan W
HEY! I really like the site but these damn advertisements that talk are pissing me off.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOUVE BEEN SELECTED TO WIN A FREE NINTENDO WII!!

The normal ads this site has been featuring all of a sudden are annoying enough, but the talking ones just have to go.
  • Veronica Mars is a terrific show.
  • Amen.
  • I bookmarked the Veronica Mars page. I'm sure to be watching the first season again this summer. Great show.
  • Man I still can't believe the MPAA let them put that picture in The Hangover. WTF? They really love Warner Bros. First The Dark Knight getting away with a PG13 and this and the new Harry Potter looks really dark yet that is PG. Terminator was pretty close to an R also.
  • jason B
i just realized HBP will be pg - no f-ing way!
  • MoreDag
    That MGMT video utterly sucks.
  • I feel so bad for the kid in the MGMT video, he must be scarred for life!
  • NIdWId6I8
Aaaaaa swing and a miss with the MGMT video.
  • Ben Candles
    RE: That Kids video

I think it's pretty terrible to put that kid through being around all those scary images and stuff. Thumbs down for putting it on the site.
  • ash
    RE: The MGMT Video

Ray Tintori should rot in hell for making that poor toddler put up with that horrifying shit, unless there was some clever editing or effect that kid was put through a lot. Who OK's that? What fucking parent sits on set and thinks this is a good idea? My god look at the terror on his face. My 18mo daughter would be beside herself with fear if she was placed in that situation. Shame on Ray Tintori, MGMT and whomever else was involved in that piece of garbage. Maybe the next video will be a pedophilia snuff film.
  • That MGMT video reminds me a lot of my childhood oddly enough: As a kid you have no idea what the "rules" are and it always seems like anything could happen; monsters in the dark, non-humans/undead people in the street. I'm not sure if that is what Tintori was going for but that was the effect it had on me.
  • shameless
that video borders on child abuse.
  • Albert Brodsky
I couldn't even watch that MGMT video all the way through. It pissed me off. Toddlers shouldn't be subjected to that kind of crap for the sake of art.
