Fox Searchlight has provided us with a deleted scene from Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire to promote the UK DVD release on June 1st 2009. The scene, which can be viewed after the jump, features Prem Kumar (Anil Kapoor), host of the Indian version of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, visiting the police station where Jamel (Dev Patel) is being interrogated.

    Irfan Khan left me misteyed after watching the name sake.and once you've seen Satya( the equivalent of Scarface in India) you can never look at that Fat Constable the same way

    I'd have to say we won on the box art for the US release of the film. Anyway, good scene. Some more Anil Kappoor would have been nice, but this scene being cut is understandable.

    He really is a badass muthafukka. I really hope he gets some roles in decent Hollywood films, and not playing stereotypical stuff. He's a nice and charismatic man in real life too.

  • uggghhhh i hate the box art for the blu-ray they showed at the end of the video clip. Slumdog isnt a fucking romantic comedy piece of shite! It deserves better box art.
