Did I say it already, I love Tom Hanks. I stood beside the great piano in FAO Schwarz in January. What a great childrens movie. Still love it.

A mark of a good actor is when you simply forget who they are in real life and start to believe that their character is real and an entirely separate entirely from who is playing them. When I watch Forrest Gump, I simply don't see Tom Hanks in that movie at all. It IS Forrest, not Tom. The same almost goes for his role in Catch Me If You Can. It's very difficult to really connect the actor with the role.

That said, I'd really like to see Tom in more comedic roles. He's got natural talent for comedy, it's a shame to see him sort of neglect that area for a while now.

Tom Hanks can do it all. He's also a ton of fun to watch in interviews cause he doesn't let his on screen talents get to his head.

You know after seeing this it reminds me just how much I do like Tom Hanks. He does a lot of good movies and just seems like an all around great guy. He just sold me and I'm going to see Angels & Demons I think.

I first figured he was a down to earth guy when he was doing YOUTUBE videos about hybrid cars, and these weren't highly produced videos either just handycam stuff, and I thought what a fun guy. He didn't come off as bad as most people on Youtube do. Great video here though I can't believe he still remembered that AND the moves.

I have loved Tom ever since Bosom Buddies. He has grown into such a wonderful actor and movie star. We don't have real movie stars like we used to; you know, Robert Redford, Paul Newman, James Stewart.
