i actually agree, i dont think the timing was right when the car gets blown up in the eginning and the people fly in the air.

Nah, I am feeling that too. It just feehls unfinished. I mean you can almost feel you are on a set and the harvester is not real. Its really bad...

I have to add... why did they make a fuel track with the plan to shoot the tank, which did not work. But then they have the genious idea to enlighten the track, which was their plan in the first place?? Thats just dumb and illogical.

Maybe he opened it to see if there was gas inside and in his rush never bothered to close the valve. On one hand it was nice that he didn't just assume that the gas tank was full and actually checked. On the other hand, it worked out quite conveniently.

The studio seems to be ramming this movie down our throats. 4 minute trailer, now a 5 minute featurette. and countless interviews with McG and Mr Bale. i wasn't interested in this to start with. Now its getting on my tits.

Good point, they may have well leaked the entire movie online ala wolverine for all the clips, trailers, extended trailers and featurettes warners have released. Maybe if we pieced them all together we would have the finished film ?

Trust me i seen this film tonight... i wanted to like it but it had nothing spectacular other than fancy effects and explosions. Nothing we havent seen in the matrix.

i really want this film to be good, but this clip just doesn't do anything for me. i agree with some of the early posts- there was no sense of danger or peril. not even for a split second did i feel any kind of concern or worry for the people. and the harvester itself, while it wields a ridiculous amount of firepower, seems slow, clunky and stupid.

This looks amazing. This is another burn against the haters.

First, the haters complained that there wasn't enough info from Bale, et al. Now there's too much. LOL.

These haters are trying WAY too hard to convince others that the film will be bad. I guess they do this to justify all their hate these past few months. After all, what kind of fan would they be if they spent months posting HUNDREDS of times per day about how bad the film will be only to discover that - gasp - the film is actually pretty good.

At this point they're pretty much committed to the "storyline" that the movie sucks and even if they like it, they will never admit it. At this point they're praying that the film stinks.

That was really cool. That was pretty genius how they blew up that thing.

I agree with "Final Word," you guys are trying to hard to convince others that you don't like any of this. Especially since all of you who take the time to post about the film will almost certainly see it at the theater.

This film looks better and better with every new piece I see. I agree that there may be TOO MUCH stuff coming out that will pretty much spoil the whole film. Otherwise, I'm really impressed with everything I've seen.

If Terminator Salvation is good I will admit that I prejudged it.

Its already got 1 strike against with the Terminator with human body parts and a brain instead of a cpu. Sorry that's not hate its just a lame idea (imo) and they should have gone a different way.

From what I know about this film, is that originally Connor was going to be killed and turned into a Terminator. That leaked and the online fans bashed the idea so much that Mcg got scared. They brought in Jonathan Nolan to rewrite the script as they already had begun with the Connor dead at the end film. So the entire film was changed to include Marcus as one of the main characters.

So were getting a Terminator film that was written by the same two guys that penned T3, then it was completely rewritten (on set). Topped off with an unproven director Mcg,(Charlies Angels, music video's).
Sorry of I have my doubts, his (Mcg) comments on his plans for T5, sound even worse (imo).

Sure I'll pay to see this because I want to see how good or bad it is. I'm leaning towards the bad so far, well see....

Definitely feels empty. The CG just doesn't fit. Looks like a made for Sci-Fi movie. The sound effects of the Harvester are meh. Whatever, it's McG, how much can you really expect from him?

Yeah i'm going to see it in the theatres, i think this time i will even ignore the reviews.

I was really actually kinda excited for this movie but after seeing this clip I actually feel like this will be worse than Transformers 2...ugh. Based on this clip alone, it looks like the problem is McG more than anything else.
