  • pretty cool DVD set.

tempting, but ill wait for at least a $30 price drop.
  • Wild Bill Adama
Can you get a version without the last episode?
  • Wow! That looks so good! And the DVD version is very cheap comparatively. Absolutely beautifully made.
  • Fracking sweet!
  • Pretty weak that is doesn't come with the plan. I'm scared if I purchase it they'd come out with some ultra sweet box set that incorporates it. Also, anybody see Selma Hayek wearing a "What the frak shirt" on 30 rock?
  • Hell yeah I did. Screamed like a frakkin idiot when I saw her shirt.
  • I just bought the whole series individually :(

    Frak you Universal.
  • It's not Universal's fault you didn't plan ahead.
  • Calm down, killer! It was a joke, did you see I used the word "frak"??

Sigh, next time I sporadically go out to buy a series I enjoyed immensely, I'll contact the DVD Collections Committee to make sure there aren't any upcoming box set releases. I agree, I should have check before hand, but I had to have them!

I'll probably try to sell them so that I can make up the cost of the new set.
  • I guess I'll have to wait until it hits the sub $100 mark.
  • sheesh. that's a chunk of change. was wanting the blu ray, but will have to wait for it to drop before i slam down that much cash.
  • my favorite serie!!!! Thanks for the package
  • The Iron Avenger
I just started this series the other week. I wish I would have frakking waited for this to come out.
  • I completely understand! I really love this show. I think the writing is excellent and the actors are absolutely amazing, so when i started watching the eps one after another I didn't think about the box set, I just wanted the next season and I wanted it now!

Wish I waited too, but like Roig said, god forbid they release another box set including The Plan soon after, because I will have to have it!

    I'll netflix the blu ray.

I've never watch the show, and recently been informed the head writer tosses in stuff about intelligent design (and also did so in Star Trek TNG and Voyager), so I'm in no rush to have that influence.
  • You probably won't like the show if you think people merely discussing the possibilities of how we got here is some kind of "influence".
  • Konrad
If someone is telling you there was "intelligent design" in BSG or any Star Trek, they need to get their head checked out.

I'm just passing along what I heard, I'd never actually seen this show. I'm still willing to watch the show since I'm a grown up and can tell the difference between a discussion and being preached to.

Moore has more secular credits than religious ones, but you can't help but notice any discussion about faith in these series, he's usually not far behind. This isn't a debate I'd intended to start, so I'm going to leave it that. In spite of the constant whining I heard about the last few episodes, BSG is still something I want to see and decide for about myself.
  • that's a pretty closed-minded and ignorant reason to pass on a show.

for the record, i'm an agnostic and still really enjoyed the spiritual aspects of the show.
  • Zac
the very first thing I said was "I'll netflix the blu ray"

I have no intention of passing on the show. I still fully intend to watch it then make up my mind for myself.
  • Everybody's a critic.

I actually received S1 - S3 for my birthday and was compelled to buy season 4 myself after watching them religiously. Then, out of the blue, I read this story! This is definitely a beautiful box set.

Next time, I'll sit down with my DVD collection advisory committee and make sure not to buy television series DVD's on a whim, if they have a whole box set coming out in 2+ months. ^_^
  • I understand your fear, lol.
  • it looks fuckin amazing...altho does anyone know a uk release date?
  • Great collection piece.
