bill murray zombieland

ShockTillYouDrop has learned that Bill Murray filmed a cameo for Ruben Fleischer’s horror comedy Zombieland. According to the anonymous source, Murray donned full zombie make-up to make a shot appearance. Murray was in Georgia working on the film Get Low while Zombieland was in production. Zombieland star Woody Harrelson was spotted hanging out with Murray at some local Atlanta spots, so it’s very possible.

It is unknown is Murray appears in the background of a shot, or is featured on screen. I visited the set of the film earlier this month, ans whild while I’m embargoed from sharing my experiences with you until closer towards release, I will tell you this is a film to watch out for.

Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him.  Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn’t have fears.  If he did, he’d kick their ever-living ass.  In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors.  But now, they’re about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all:  each other.

  • I hope it's ture. Steve Zissou the man!
  • is this set for a wide release or limited?
  • Nice to see wooody back in the mix! Not to mention The Murray, who rules.
  • Thrillhouse
So Eisenberg goes from "Adventureland" to "Zombieland"? WTF?
  • hah!
  • Bill is the greatest...!
  • it must have been a lot of fun to do this movie. I would have loved to be a zombie extra!
  • toho
I do know that he did indeed do a cameo, having worked on the film. You'll love which character he did, too.

btw ANGRYBROOMSTICK - careful what you wish for. Being a human extra alone is maddening; a zombie extra 10 times as much because of the makeup, repetition, etc. I wouldn't wish that on too many of you.
  • It doesn't matter how much of Bill Murray might be in a movie or even if that movie is awesome already. His involvement makes any movie (even if it sucks) even that much better!

Case in point: "Get Smart" = Awesome
  • Maybe hes a zombie greens keeper for golf club. That would be the greatest cameo ever.....
  • Maybe hes a zombie greens keeper for golf a club. That would be the greatest cameo ever.....
  • Maybe hes a zombie greens keeper for a golf club. That would be the greatest cameo ever.....
  • and trying to kill a zombie mole!
  • Bill Murray's the best. What a stand up guy to go have a zombie cameo just because he felt like it.
  • I think some of these actors may have also made a cameo in www.killzombiekillthemovie.com which is also a Zombedy. I could be wrong though.

I heard about it just now. I heard it will be a reference to Ghostbusters. I am not sure if it is true or not.
  • Better yet, will we even be able to recognize him? He'll probably be so bloody and have body parts missing we won't even be able to recognize him. I hope he has a funny part in the movie.
  • Atlee
I think it does have a refernece to Ghostbusters because The theme song is on the sound track

  • Zombieland Fan
Bill Murry does make an appearance in Zombieland and it is pretty awesome. He is in full make up and they even go to Bill Murry's home. I think it was the best scene ever...especially with the ghost busters appearance in the film.
