  • Futurama references, good. Ruining them? Not so good.
  • I loved her so much in Golden Girls and those reruns of Maude. she was one of the first feminist, outspoken, independent, funny and smart female characters on two popular TV shows.

    RIP
  • Bea Arthur was a saint. No one tell Wade Wilson. =(

  • And if you through a party, Invited everyone you ever knew. You would see the biggest gift would be from me and the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

A very funny lady and, from what I've heard, a lovely person. We'll miss ya, Bea.

I am so saddened to hear that Bea Arthur is no longer among us. I consider The Golden Girls to be one of the funniest sitcoms of all time. The interplay between the characters created some of the funniest exchanges ever filmed for television.

Although the show ended in 1992, it's never been off the air, mostly due to Lifetime's near non-stop airings of the reruns. At one point it was on like 6 times/day. And you know what, it never gets old. I've seen every episode numerous times yet I still laugh just as much every time I catch it. I'm so bummed that Bea died. In some weird way I always thought she would be around.
  • she really was a brilliantly funny actress... that show now will feel different knowing she's passed.
  • noodles loves you
she will live on through deadpool references for all time
