Paramount Pictures has released the official list of RSVP e-mails for the 20 city Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer premiere which is taking place on April 29th. If you live in one of the 20 cities and would like to attend the event, send an e-mail your your name and information.

The trailer is attached to a one-time screening of Michael Bay’s 2007 film Transformers. Paramount is also holding a costume contest - come dressed as your favorite Autobot or Decpticon to enter to win a trip to Los Angeles for the premiere of Revenge of the Fallen in June. The movie will be presented in IMAX in the five top markets: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Toronto. No word on if the new trailer will also be presented in IMAX at the selected theaters, but if it is, it might be the first time we see Transformers footage, shot in IMAX, on the IMAX screen.

Click on the flyer above to see the e-mail addresses that you  need to RSVP to. Please note that seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first come, first served basis. So arrive really early. Full list of cities/theaters after the jump.

  • Cole
"Go watch Wolverine or something." hahaha
funny stuff. Would go but.... I will just wait to see it online.
  • mitch
All I'm saying is that this movie is talked about waaaaaaaaay too much on this site.
  • MyNew Pep-Pep
Most overrated movie of all time.
  • wow, this will rock!!
  • Bob
I hated Transformers ...but yay for Toronto!
  • Cat
    I'm there dude!
  • fuck i'm in LA but i have a midterm the next day..... :(
  • Really?? All this hype for a trailer? This movie will suck just like the first one did Micheal Bay blows.
  • if you hate it so much why do you bother commenting and wasting your time? maybe you could be spending your time doing...michael bay.
  • Just RSVPed for San Francisco IMAX. I hope I get it.
  • I tried to but I keep receiving a "Delivery Status Notification" of failure to send my RSVP to the e-mail because the mail subsystem is informing me its non existent.
  • Josh
I get a delivery failure as well. Maybe the rsvp is full so the address is shut down?
  • The SF addy is bouncing back for me. Dead? :(
  • Same here.
  • I didn't get that when I sent an email to the SF RSVP.

    Weird.

  • Just RSVP'd for LA's IMAX showing! This just posted barelt 2 hours ago so hopefully I'll get it :P
  • badenglish
cant wait sadly there is no trailer in my Continent but...
atleast it will be online soon after :D
  • starscream9289
I'll just wait till it gets leaked online -_-
  • exorcissy72
This seems like an extremely stupid waste of time for a trailer premiere.

I would find watching the first Transformers again the theater really obnoxious anyway, so maybe I'm just not the right person to judge.
  • Some of these will be rough cuts of Revenge of the Fallen.
  • Josh
What does everyone think "early" constitutes? I don't feel like hopping on BART 2 hours before the movie starts to wait in line.
  • The SF e-mail worked for you? It didn't bounce your response?
  • Josh
No. I posted that right before I sent the email. The rsvp must be full.
  • Darn guess so.

    Oh well.
  • MAKE SURE YOU GO DRESSED UP AS YOUR FAVORITE AUTOBOT
  • Anyone get a reply back yet? I sent one for Detroit and figured they'd at least have an auto-reply, but no luck.
  • I was wondering the same thing. My email went through fine, but I'm not sure how we'll know if we got a ticket or not. Would be nice to be notified in advance.
  • Geet
I saw Transformers at the IMAX already so I'll pass. For those of you emailing, like most prescreenings you prolly will get an email, but they'll say, "please get there early cause there won't be seating available for everyone." So they usually send out way more invites then they can handle to make sure they have a full house.
  • GregoryV
Im crossing my fingers and hope they say, "Opps! We're not showing you a trailer or the first movie but in fact, TRANSFORMERS 2!" Now that would be awesome.
  • GregoryV
Same here. That sucks. I was hoping they surprise us by not showing us a trailer and they actually showed "Revenge of the Fallen".
  • After you guys posted about this last night, I googled for tickets in Chicago and ended up finding a site (Chicago Speculative Fiction Community) where they reserved 15 tickets. A Paramount Publicist offered them a group of tickets so I joined the site, made a post and bam, I now have two tickets. Im excited because according to the site there gonna have Optimus Prime there. I dont know what that means, but if I had to guess there gonna have a robot there, or something, hopefully not just some guy in a suit. But either way,aAll I know is come Wednesday I will be watching Transformers in IMAX and a brand new trailer, cant wait.
  • Lola
When they say Optimus Prime is going to be there they probably mean they'll have the red and blue truck that played Optimus Prime in the first film...
  • Jessica
yeah, the optimus prime robot was computer made and transformers is waaay too awesome to settle for paying a guy who would dress up as optimus prime...
  • That makes sense, Im kinda stupid for not thinking of that. I just remember at either the screening for the first film, or some press thing (maybe it was one of the cons), they had a mini Bumblebee robot. But who cares, everything's free so thats the best part.
  • emailing the address for your city does not guarantee you a seat. whether you get an email back or not, you have to show up and hope a seat is available for you. first come first serve at the theater.
  • So lets say I never received an RSVP response. I can just show up early without it and I will still be admitted (assuming if I'm there early with plenty of seating)?
  • So lets say I never received an RSVP response. Can I just show up early without it and still be admitted (assuming if I'm there early with plenty of seating)?
  • if you don't receive a response you can still go and show up early enough that you can get a seat. so, yes you can get a seat without an email response.
  • Jeff W.
That's a whole lot of hoopla for a 2 minute trailer. I'll wait to watch it the next day on YouTube.
  • Jessica
Yeah... I saw those pictures too! and that would be super awesome to have like a ginormous optimus prime action figure there... but I think what's most likely to happen is that they have the truck there...
Either way as you said... who cares if it's free? xD... Just be sure to tell us what it was in the end..
    Peace!
  • I got a ticket for Toronto and I'm excited cause I didn't get to see the first one in IMAX. Not dressing as a robot, but I am dressing as Sam (only because I have the same Strokes shirt). Should be good times for anyone who actually loves the film.
  • Just got back from the Transformers event at the Bridge in LA. Had an awesome time! ET was there taping all of us in line. KIIS FM was playing music and giving away stuff. and Paramount was giving away free Transformers action figures.
Right before they let us in they told us to go crazy when the special guests arrive...we were all wondering who it might be until Michael Bay nonchalantly walked past all of us in line and into the theater!
When we were all seated we got the biggest surprise ever....Michael Bay, Shia LaBeouf, and Tyrese were there in person to present the debut of the ROTF trailer!!!! It was INSANE!!! They all talked about the movie and got us all hyped up for the trailer.
They played the trailer. It was CRAZY. The movie looks soooo action packed! It ended...then Tyrese came back to get us all cheering for an encore hahaha remember this was the first time Tyrese and Shia saw it too. So they played it again haha we all went nuts then the IMAX version of Transformers started rolling.
So much fun to watch Transformers on the big screen again...especially in IMAX which had a few deleted scenes added in the cut btw. Then after the movie ended they rolled the new ROTF trailer again ahaha AWESOME!
Had such a great time. Couldn't believe it was all FREE!!!
Thanks /FILM for informing me about this!!!!
  • George
Wow. I just got back from the Orlando one last night and it was a little more subued. Same here, got to see it again and on a Digital Projector which was nice. Trailer was Good and(and was the one that got leaked earlier today too)

But not nearly as cool as YOUR story.
  • i saw it! the trailer looks so good! i just hope Optimus Prime will be ok. i have a HUGE obsession with him.
