What would you have wanted it to say? I'm fine with what it says even though that's the most evidence that people are saying this is a fan created poster. Oh by the way, most are saying they've seen it at their local theaters recently so it's not a fake.

Its easy to suggest something is "corny" without offering your own suggestion.

It's also the poster on Wiki too (even though it can't be trusted most of the time).

This poster doesn't appear with the others on the official Warner Bros. website. Until it does I doubt it's authenticity. Either way, somebody put in a lot of work and did a fine job.

Sweet. This movie is everything I would have wanted T3 to be except for McG behind the camera. ANYONE else directing it and I'd count the days till I was entertained, but McG's past efforts somehow, designed specifically to entertained, managed to fail on every level. But awesome poster and I'm more excited about this than I am for Transformers 2

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with Chris_M on this one. At first I was very skeptical about this film. After I viewed a few still images from the film that slightly changed. As I saw the last two trailers, it completely took me by surprise and now this is going to be one of this year's summer blockbusters. I am one of those people that Chris is talking about that has given McG a break and am expecting this film to be great.

I agree with you on the awesomeness of the poster and that I too am excited about this more than Transformers 2. Either way this summer is going to be a gigantic orgy of futuristic robots trying to rule the world.

Why the hell does Sam Worthington get any billing at all? Unless you're a film geek, literally no one knows who this guy is. And yes I understand this will obviously change after this and Avatar come out..but as of now...it's just wasting space on the poster.

I like it. Looks like it was pulled from the concept art. Seriously though, any poster with the Terminators featured is going to look pretty badass. I just appreciate that they are letting the legendary machines sell the film and not some Bale floating heads (or really any images of the actors in the posters I've seen). That is one marketing move that I have HUGE respect for. Given Bale's popularity, it's a ballsy move.

Of course, the Terminators in this movie are why I have to see it. In all honesty, they could have cast Shia LaBeuf, and I'd probably go. Oh.....wait a sec....I think somebody already did that with something else. In any case, The bots are selling the movie and I like it.

Looks like a piece of crap, as only excuse for making money of an already fallen franchise, (T3 and so on).

I like how the main Terminator here is striking a pose similar to the pose Arnold has when he busts open the box of roses with a shotgun in hand in the mall backway in T2... that's what it reminded me of, anyway.

Its not his first.
US audiences wouldn't know most, except maybe Rogue.
And he has been second billed a lot.
I'm 90% sure he has a really big role.

I think this is the best poster so far from this movie.

I think its a pretty silly poster;

It's almost a design by committee of yeah whats "cool", lets give them kick ass mini guns and oh lets make the terminators more edgy by making them darker. Completely retarded with James Camerons concept that Skynet was ruthless and cold machine intelligence.

it is chrome man, the shot is back lit. the black stuff you see on the robot is what we here in the wonderful world of observation refer to as 'shadows.' they tend to be black and they appear when there is an obstruction to a source of light. the shiny stuff on the chrome is usually reffered to as a 'reflection.' they occur when a source of light comes into direct contact with a reflective surface, like chrome!

its not, this a t-600, its the color of rusted iron.

although, looking again, they did definitely color this one a more metallic sheen, so I sort of retract my prior comment

This might be a little spoiler to those how are not familiar with the books or the Terminator story so read at your own will:

Terminator wearing ruined clothes: The first batch of terminators that looked like humans (t600) were way to big and easy to spot for humans, so Skynet first tried to dress them, flesh on top of metal was way farther in the story that the time we are going to be told in t4.

Black terminator: Read last part of last paragraph, Skynet didn't have many resources at first and started to make terminator with whatever metal have at hand, more chrome/titanium look Ts will come with the t800 when it needed a better endoskeleton that won't rot the flesh.

Mini gun: Skynet made its own guns so fire rate or ammo round would be totally different to what humans can use or handle, and a Terminator usually makes good use of the ammo it has (unless it's chasing our hero of course).
