Vote Now - Which Poster Do You Like Best?

  • Brandon
    3rd is the best.
  • Top right is my favorite.
  • mine also.
  • Jefe
    yo tambien.
  • mine 2
  • Luke
I like one of the top left, its simple and clean
  • 2 or 4... =)
  • I'd probably say bottom left, as it will instantly jump out and grab the walking-by audiences attention and curiosity, after all we all want to know what every number made up of a collage of images is all about!
  • Top right I would have to say.. I'll see this one with my girlfriend and act like it's her idea just so I can watch Zooey Deschanel. Beautiful!
  • agreed. anything with Zooey is a plus.
  • yeaaaaa great idea. although i've already told my girlfriend I wanna see this.
  • Aequitas
3 or 4. But 4 is definitely the best. Agreed that 2 or 3 probably symbolically represent the movie better but no. 4 just has a distinct and clean look about it.
  • 1. Too plain.
    2. Very cool. The dash of yellow adds a lot to it. Definitely has that "indie" feel to it.
    3. Interesting, but also a little awkward.
    4. Elegant and simple.

I voted for the second one.
  • Agreed, I don't know why a random blotch of a color makes a movie feel indie, but it does. Juno did it, and I remember Spotless Mind doing it once, didn't they? Speaking of Juno, did anyone see Medium on monday. Strangest Juno renacment ever. But I did like how Allison smiled when she woke up, thinking it was just some weird dream. That was great.

What were we talking about again?
  • from best to worst (even though i like them all really): 3, 2, 4, 1. top left just seems to cookie cutter romantic comedy to me.
  • Twisted
    #2 (top right)!
  • TOP RIGHT easily.
  • I actually like all of them...
  • yeah, i'm surprised they don't just use all of them. lots of films always have 3/4 different posters.

although i don't like the first one.
  • Totally agree with your reactions to all of them. Like you said, 2 definitely has that "indie" look to it, but I don't know if that's what they should be going for. Judging from the trailer, I think this film would have mass appeal. Maybe they should market it in a more mainstream way. I voted for 4.
  • Gordon
Bottom right because it's like waking up next to Zooey
  • skippy
    heh, good one.
  • B33
    Top right.
  • That's the one I voted for too. And yes, Zooey rules.
  • I went with the 3rd one (bottom left); it'll pop, catch attention as a full sized poster, won't look as awkward or hard to discern photograph wise.

Opinions on others: 1st has too standard of a romcom vibe, with some poor use of empty space. 2nd has that so called "indie" vibe ala Juno or Thumbsucker poster, which I don't like, no need to copy. the 4th is my 2nd fave, with better use of empty space;nice clean lines.
  • 2 and 4
  • Zinc
    Top right for me.
  • That would be the top right.
  • Dino
I chose 4 because her beauty catches my eye more than anything else, probably the same way it caught his in the movie.
  • Top right is great,
  • Funny...for me, number three by far. I love the way the many pictures make up 500. Damn cool.
  • markglen
Either of the two on the right would be best for it I think. Thanks for posting this by the way, I hadn't watched the trailer for it until now and absolutely love the look of it. Hoping for a UK release!
  • /filmluvszooey
went with 4. i feel like i've seen posters like 2 too much. though it was my second fav.
  • Top left for me (#1). The others feature the main guy sitting on his arse writing, and that doesn't strike me as highly entertaining 2 hours viewing -- a guy writing/reading. Yes, I realise that is not the case, but he feels forced into those posters.

Top left has nice composition and typography wins over the rest.
  • Top right! or bottom left or right. what do you think, Peter?
  • I choose poster #4. There, Fox, I did your job for you. Now where's mah money?
  • No, you don't understand. Fox Searchlight are the GOOD ones.
  • No, *they* did they work (designs). I'm glad to voice my opinion one this one. Fox Searchlight rocks.

And I'm with ya, Peter. (top right ftw?!)
  • Let me just say that it is Awesome of Fox Searchlight to invite us to provide feedback to their posters. that is just fucking cool.
  • Yes, I like the top right and voted for it twice. I actually like 2, 3, & 4 and would love any one of them as the film's poster. I just think it's really cool that we get to vote.
  • valido
I definitely vote for the first one, but the title should be big, bold and red and placed below the charachters, like in "Epic Movie" or "Norbit". That will give a better idea.
  • Has anyone listened to She and Him (zooeys band)
  • Yes, I own their album! It's great!!!
  • Yep. I like the star burst design. Colorful and it isn't more of the same.
  • It reminds me of Juno.
  • Palmer
2 and 3 are good posters, but I voted for 2 anyways.
  • #1 is too generic. #3 is all right but not that great. #4 is all right but looks like 100 posters I've seen before.

    #2 is the winner.
  • drmecha
    #2 = Napoleon Dynamite / Juno. = Sucks.

    #4 = win.
  • I to voted for that one.
  • Oh, and I like the use of the sun ala' Summer. It kinda ads a visual trick, although I hope people read the tagline, cause they might thing this is another "I wish it was summer all year long movie." I thought so when I first read the title. Hopefully America will not.
