  • I listened live yesterday, but damned if I didn't have to jump forward to listen to Myles talk again. He's like a poor man's Ira Glass...which might be the strangest compliment I've ever given.
  • At yet, at the same time, it's kind of one of the best I've received. Merci!
  • Mike
Hum, I don't really get how Adam can say Penelope Cruz didn't deserve to win...I thought she was clearly the best of those 5. To each their own I guess..

Looking forward to hearing all of your thoughts on Rachel Getting Married next week, it was one of my favorites of 2008

When The Legend of Chun Li comes out, I'm going to do myself a favor and watch The Animated Movie again. I'm glad to hear you guys like it because I LOVED that movie. It will always be the best Street Fighter on screen. The Vega clip from the new movie was horrible! It was done so well in the animated film, and with an awesome soundtrack too.

Its driving me nuts that no one is saying Kate Winslet in Revolutionary Road...I want to yell at you through the computer.... she was amazing in that.....
  • Mike
someone can't be nominated twice in the same acting category...which is why they were trying so hard to pass off her performance in The Reader as supporting.

U must read the "contact" novel by carl sagan
all the good stuff u mentioned is because of the book
& I think The day the earth stood still is just the same message, they just fail in some aspects but yeah I guess I dont hate the day the earth stood still that much like everyone.
  • David Morse is only in about 3 minutes of Hurt Locker but he's still badass.

Dave Chen i notice alot of your podcast you like to compare a hollywood films with a porno film. you should start comparing a porno with a hollywood film or do a review of a recent porno you seen LOL.
  • Daniel Fouste
I find it ironic that they talked about an all-animation award show where WALL-E was the big winner, considering there's already the Annies, and the big Annie winner this year was Kung Fu Panda.
  • Daniel Fouste
    Oops, spoke too soon.
  • Yes. Verbal irony, Daniel :)
  • Rachel Getting Married Review Epic. Far and away the best movie of 2008.
