I disagree with almost everything from LOTR to Alien.

Anyone else want to just forget the 2000s ever happened and just go back to the 80s and 90s? So many bad sequels, unnecessary 4th movies and remakes... ugh... :( Except Lotr, that was beautiful. When's that hobbit movie coming out?

I dissagree with a few things here. Star Wars and Empire should be on the same level... full. Temple of Doom is way to high, it's not nearly as great as Crusades (Sean Connery, need I say more). Since when is Jurrasic Park 3 worse than 2? Why are all three LOTR movies on the exact same level? ROTK should be a full bar IMHO. Planet of the Apes and Batman are not trilogies. And as far as I'm concerened, Godfather parts 1 and 2 should both be full bars... but that's just me.

Otherwise everything else is close enough... it's a cool idea.

Wow. There is nothing scientific behind these meters. This is Dan Meth's PERSONAL OPINION (*gasp!*) about these trilogies. Nothing more, nothing less. Some of you are acting like there is some science behind this.

A lot of bad judgments made in the ratings in general. As others stated many are not even really trilogies, and most are studio garbage to begin with.
Even so, how can ANYONE think that Terminator 2 which ruined a great villain and spawned an abortion of a franchise was better than the classic Terminator.

Batman 2 wasn't that bad! Michelle Pfieffer (sp?) being chewed on by cats in a snowy alleyway was good clean fun, as was the penguin battalion...

This is generally a good idea, but I think they should actually feature real trilogies, as most of the films on here go above the 3 films total, as has been outlined in many a comment above.

If I had made this, Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 2 would be all the way full. Those movies are epic. and have Jeff Goldblum being awesome slash pretty.

Why are people arguing that Jurassic Park 2 is better than Jurassic Park 3?
The second movie was at least worthy of being watched more than once, where as the third was just a huge disappointment. I guess maybe the IDEA behind the third is better than the second (thereby assuming the books are probably better) but the execution is way better for the second.
