Cool Stuff: Wearable Terminator Salvation Toys

wearable t4 toys

Playmate Toys has announced a line of wearable Terminator Salvation toys that almost make up for the laughable Halloween costumes we mentioned earlier this month. I would have loved these things when I was a kid. I remember they had a cool Halloween prosthetic kit that would let you transform your face into a half machine half torn human, ala Arnold from T2. But the kit involved applying this facial putty that seemed extremely messy. They’ve found a way around the mess with the new toys, one of which holds the facial appliances on your face using a flexible plastic band. More promotional photos after the jump.
T-600 Voice-n-vision skull can fit the size of any head with adjustable band. It includes a voice changer that makes you sound like a Termiantor.  The eyes light-up a glowing red. People from outside the mask will look shiny red. ?6,800 or about $74

T-600 Fist allows you to punch from a “far away distince”. ?6,800 or about $74

    HA!
yeah... "so, lets NOT sell this stuff to americans. I mean, who needs money?"
  • KramitTheFrog
What has movie making come to when a fucking terminator movie is being marketed for kids. Absolutely ridicules!
  • Do you remember the toys that came out for T2? There were some nice collectibles, but there was also a *lot* of stuff that was clearly intended for kids.

Personally, I still fondly remember when I was a kid and my dad took me to see the first Terminator movie back in `84. Sure, I might have been a little young for something like that, but I've been a hard core fan ever since.
  • So nice toys

T2 was also marketed towards kids, don't forget that.
  • That head looks sooooo idiotic !

Foolis japanese or chinese or what that stuff comes from !
  • doesn't look terrible, but the 90's stuff was better.

Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto! I totally would have rocked that in 91(T2).

Curious, did you know when making this comment, that the T-800 and Mr. Roboto for Styx was the same artist?
  • Palmer
Are they really encouraging kids to dress up as human killing robots again? And since when did a terminator have rocket fists?
  • YES! props to go with the costumes that Peter featured in a post last month!

i can live the movie now!
  • that is strange stuff. but those previous kids costumes will benefit from this.
  • The rocket fist might get someone hurt.
