There was no trailer voice guy on the first films promotions either. Which only further establishes your point: more of the same.

@obin. Agreed. It is just an extended teaser trailer but a cool one. The darker tone for the film is a welcome addition.

The first BayFormers looked "dark in tone" from the trailers - Then we were subjected to a pee and fart-gag filled "comedy" full of lazy racial stereotypes and the cheesiest one-liners this side of 1989.

Totally Agree. While excited for the film, i'm not as excited as I want to be. It looks the same. So I expect the same. Doesn't mean I won't have fun though. Oh well.

I by no means think Megan Fox is the greatest actress on Earth or anything, but she does what she needs to do well... ripping on the image used for this post (which actually portrays fear rather well) was a cheap shot. You're allowed to not like her acting, just try and make better examples for your opinion, I guess.

She is very far from being a great actress. But i do enjoy watching her on screen, so it doesnt really matter. She brings something to Transformers, even though we may not appreciate it.

Did you want the trailer to tell you the plot of the movie? For me that was a good trailer. It gives you some visuals to hook you in and make you want to see more. The old school previews used to do it like this.

what do you need to know? it's giant robots fighting. big explosions. megan fox. shia yelling "no no no no no" repeatedly.

Agreed. YouTube bootlegs piss me off. They always seem to think its OK to shuffle the camera in their lap during the quiet bits, so you can hear nothing but their hand/palm/bag/whatever scraping against the body. Personally, that sound grits my sh*t.

It's always nice to see a trailer before it's suppose to be seen. I do agree though that whoever does the filming of these has never seen or operated a handheld camera before.

Why's everyone so hostile? So what if it was just extended scenes from the teaser? Last I checked most of the TDK trailers were just a remix of the first theatrical!

is it me but this year France keep on having bad things happening to them i.e. Dragonball Evolution the scene where Piccolo blows up a city in the movie is actually France, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra blows up Eiffel Tower and now Transformers 2 attacking France too. is it an anti-france campaign this year the poor French people i guess i wont take my girl to France for a romantic holiday then.
anyway the trailer looks good but im just waiting for a proper version to enjoy it even more.

Yea, it was cool, seems like Bay is going for the Empire Strike Back downer movie here for his trilogy. Not bad. I'm all for it, I'll be checking it out at the IMAX Theather anyway (for some reason it seems to be cheaper than the normal theaters around here) and they have better food at the concessions. In any case, I think it'll be a lot of fun. Mike Bay never seems to disappoint me with his action movies.

I mean 1 minute of random things blowing up from falling objects... common... i want decepticons or autobots man!!! ... not f'ing asteroids. anyway, i thought it sucked. here's to waiting on next trailer!!

This movie looks like crap. I was not a fan of the first one and this does nothing to grab my interest now. It's sad really, especially considering how many dimwits are going to rush out to see this garbage and pad Bay's pockets so he can continue his downward spiral.

yo.. who the heck wants transformers to go for the Oscars, anyway? it's a little kid's fantasy come to big-screen life, for crying out loud... bigger bots, half-decent story... bottom-line, we were promised more of Optimus, so that alone should be enough!
