Watchmen Apple Store Appearances

Warner Bros is holding Watchmen events at a few Apple Stores in New York and California. Here are the details:

Apple Store SoHo (NY) - Friday, February 6th at 7:00pm: Dave Gibbons will discuss, demonstrate illustrations and answer questions about Watchmen.
Apple Store San Francisco (CA) - Tuesday, February 17 at 7:00pm: Dave Gibbons will discuss, demonstrate illustrations and answer questions about Watchmen.
Apple Store Santa Monica (CA) - Tuesday, February 17 at 7:00pm: Zack Snyder and visual effects supervisor John “DJ” Des Jardin will discuss the creation of the CG character Dr. Manhattan in the new film.

    All the in-store events are being recorded as podcasts and will be placed on iTunes on the Watchmen page - this is for all of those people unable to attend the limited events.

    apple does a 'meet the filmmaker' series of all the director and actor visits on itunes, which are all recordings from the SoHo store. hopefully they will throw this one up there while they are at it. search for meet the filmmaker on the store, and some great podcasts will pop up.

    Went to see Gibbons at the SoHo Apple Store last night. He answered questions, showed a majorly extended trailer for the movie, and drew an original portrait of Rorschach. They printed the 300 portrait copies and Gibbons signed each one as fans came up to the stage. Pretty freaking cool overall.
