Transformers 2 Video Game Teaser Trailer

IGN has premiered a teaser trailer for Activision’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game, which will be released for the Nintendo Wii, PS3, XBox 360, PC, PS2, Nintendo DX and PSP. The trailer doesn’t show much, but does feature a voice over from Optimus Prime himself — Peter Cullen. No release date has been announced, but one would assumed it would hit store shelves around the same time as the film hits theaters on June 26th 2009. Watch the trailer embedded after the jump.

  • I didn't get a case to play the first game which on face value looks terrible, and this teaser doesn't exactly place any confidence in me, but there will always be a very small part of me (near the never-say-die child-hood memories) waiting for a decent Transformers game to be released.

    If they developed a transformer game that was independent of a motion picture, then we'd be talking.

    Does anyone actually buy/DL and play these games based on movies? The movies are usually so crappy I could imagine running out and getting Pirates of the Caribbean or Spider-Man game.

  • You know, if this game was modeled after Street Fighter mixed with Smash Bros and Godzilla Unleashed, maybe the game would be worth picking up for 30 or 40 bucks. Stop trying to tell the movie in the game and just put out something simple since companies don't give developers nearly enough time to create a polished game.

    Don't think I'l be taking a chance with this one. I dropped 50 bones on the last game, which turned out to be pretty lame.
  • man i thought that first one was kinda hard. but it was fun. not awesome. just fun. most of these based on movie games are just kinda not so fun. could a done so much more.

    man i bet this game is going yo be awsome. when i found out bumble bees arm gun shoots missels in the game i was a little sad:( but i theink ( hope this game will be different. i mean if you look closely at the movie with bumblebee shooting its more like a fire like ball.
