Exclusive: 3 New Photos from Alex Proyas’ Knowing

Summit Entertainment has sent us three new exclusive photos from Alex Proyas’ Knowing. Summit will be showing two big action scenes from the film at a panel at the New York Comic Con this weekend (February 7th from 4-5pm). And I’ve been told that one of them will be the full plane crash sequence. Check out two more photos after the jump.

Academy Award® Winner Nicolas Cage (National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Leaving Las Vegas) stars in KNOWING, a gripping action-thriller of global proportions about a professor who stumbles on terrifying predictions about the future—and sets out to prevent them from coming true.  His increasingly desperate efforts take him on a heart-pounding race against time until he finds himself facing the ultimate disaster—and the ultimate sacrifice.

  • Do you think when he was at the plane crash he was like "How did it get burned?! HOW DID IT GET BUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEED?!"
  • NO NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES! AHHHHHHHHHH! In all seriousness I hope this is good. I really want Proyas to bounce back after I ROBOT which wasn't a bad movie but not a good one, I mean come on he did Dark City and The Crow! The trailers have been decent but generic, I think it will be good though.
  • if anyone has seen the anime Gantz, they will know what i mean when i say "the second pic reminds me of the first episode of Gantz"

for those who dont, just realize that i feel like pushing nic cage into the path of the subway car

but i trust proyas, he hasnt let me down too much yet
  • nobody likes Nicholas Cage...LOL
  • The One Two
Why Nicolas Cage, Alex? WHY!?!? You must not have bee involved with the casting.
  • freemachine
Nicolas Cage keep getting weirder looking each movie he's in. Also, Cage should either bic it like Willis or start using wigs like S. Jackson.
  • RUN, FORRES-I mean...Nicolas!, RUNNNN!!!!
  • Lots of running.
  • 'Dark City' was nothing short of genius, a true piece of cinematic brilliance in my own opinion of course and while the trailer didn't cut too well, and Nicholas Cage isn't exactly hitting home-runs film after film any more, I'm still looking forward to this film, especially since the premise has incredible promise.
  • i can't stand this guy anymore. nic cage needs to re gain his credibility... since adaptation he's done some absolute shit.
  • Looking forward to this film, im in that train station scene, and it was very cool to see Nic in action..
  • Nicholas Cage needs to have his SAG card revoked. Or make a double feature of Snake Eyes 2/ 8MM2
  • MY mate was on the film set when it was down in melbourne! so will be checking this film out with him! They asked his dad to drive his hummer from west coast australia to east coast australia for a shot in the film
  • Sigh. Premise sounds fun, but alas, I'm hesitant due to the casting of Nick 'I ruined Ghost Rider and many other potential franchise movies' Cage. What I don't understand is where is the Cage from films like Adaptation, Matchstick Men, or Weatherman? Does his talent work like a dam, and he has to build it up and release it in spurts? Yet in the meantime he still needs paychecks so he puts out horrible horrible tripe? If I was writing for a non-biased site I would be hesitant to introduce him as 'Academy Award Winner' Nicolas Cage, I mean he's only won 1 Oscar in the last 13 years.
He really needs to stop trying to be the bad-ass alpha-male lead and stick to being the ADHD emotional wrecks that always win him praise. (Hence the one subsequent nomination for an Oscar that he's received.)
