I have to wonder if that whole thing wasn't just a publicity stunt for free promotion. I mean everybody is in talks over the situation, and the movie received loads of free publicity. Christian's rep isn't hurt any worse than when his family got him arrested.

Bale should go on SNL and make fun of himself yelling at the cast and crew. I think that's the best damage control possible, though an apology to the T4 crew (for having to sit through his tirade) would be appropriate. Who knows, maybe Bale already apologized to Hurlbut in private.

What is the purpose of releasing this pic today? Are the studios trying to quell the anti-Bale rhetoric perhaps? Maybe - just maybe - Bale could release a statement. Something apologetic, explaining his mind set at the time, his unprofessional behavior? That would help more than this random who gives a crap photo. I mean, regardless, people are going to see a Terminator movie - so the studio shouldn't be scared. As for Bale doing some damage control on his own rep - that's a whole different ball of wax my friends.

I love how the fact that Bale has a temper comes at a suprise to some of you. He always seemed like that guy to me, thats why he ends up playing the characters he plays.

Me too. T3 was awful and I suspect the franchise will never be the same without James Cameron at the helm.

tirade aside, i still cannot wait for this movie to come out. i really enjoyed McG's style even though the charlie's angels movies were not the greatest. i hope that he hits this one out of the park.
