LOL: The Christian Bale Fun Continues

Okay, so I had told myself (and you guys) that I wouldn’t be writing about the Christian Bale incident again. Well I made that statements before I realized that the internets would be producing so much great comedy content based on the story. So I just couldn’t resist passing along the information and fun. After the jump you’ll find a new Christian Bale-themed t-shirt, a Soundboard, and a professionally recorded song based on the incident. Enjoy.

Despair.com has created a t-shirt, the official tee for those who shan’t be working together with Christian Bale Again. Available from sizes Small to XXXL from $17.95 to $19.95.

UGO went to the trouble of creating the Christian Bale soundboard for you to annoy your friends with.

Los Angeles-based experimental punk band The Mae Shi were inspired by the tirade and wrote and record a new song based on the incident in less than 24-hours, titled “R U Professional”. You can download the mp3 via MediaFire or listen to it on YouTube. Thanks to /Film readers Eric T, Laura H and Tommy Up for the tip.

  • so apparently Ryan Gosling and C Bales are on the outs too.
  • lol
  • hahaha
  • Ahh... the internets, producing usless content since 199x
  • god he's so hot. Like I said before, he's more than welcomed to vent his rage onto me... *drools*
  • Oh my God... That song is amazing!!!
  • Jordan
OH MY GAWD! hahahahahh. that is sooo funny. i just might buy that shirt. i don't know yet. hmmm. its a pretty good song too.
  • Wanted to buy the shirt, but they won't let you purchase anything unless your cart gets past $19.50 and the dang shirt is $17.50. Lame.
  • Thank you /Film for your wonderful coverage of this hilarious situation. Nothing beats the first techno song though.
  • filmkid
HAHAHAHA this has gone beyond a joke now i dont know but this might give Terminator Salvation good or bad publicity LOL.

also guys Whoopi Goldberg and Terry Crews have also publicly defended Bale's actions. heres the link to the article

  • when it comes to movies there is no bad publicity.
  • Bupkis
This wasn't that interesting to begin with ... there has to be something else to post about. /boring
  • Stella Adler
Go start your own blog then you lazy king. If he didn't post this, then there would have been no new post for anyone to choose to read. Film and film-associated events are meant to be fun and entertaining. You posses neither of these qualities, so go read your precious themovieblog.com. /Film is the best.
  • agreed!
  • [A]
    loser boyfriend
  • [A]
    loser
  • Ha...Love that shirt and I hope that people don't forget about this little tirade as soon as his next movie comes out. We let too many Hollywood tools off the hook. If the kid acts like a dick, people should treat him like a dick. At least until he makes up for it by raising money for Africa with Bono or something.

I had a wonderful dream last night where David Letterman calls out Bales and pegs him to the wall the next time he's on the show. Oh man...to see C Bales storm out on him ala Crispin Glover? Fantastic.
  • Bupkis
You dream of David Letterman? How queer ...
  • haha, I was about to say. Two men no less...
  • i agree with you. we shouldn't just forget, and let him off the hook. it takes a real jerk to belittle someone like that...and he should have it tattooed on his forehead

that, imo, is how we should punish all non-violent crimes.

(or we could just roll with sandwich boards, like Arrested)
  • I can't wait to tattoo JAYWALKER into your forehead. And last I checked yelling at someone wasn't a crime.
  • Ok people you want to tell me that you wouldnt let someone who makes a mistake not only once but twice have it? I mean come on that is a multi-million dollar film and time is money and that guy just wasted time to set up the scene, time to get the actor ready, and not to mention the cost of the actual film. So i think if it had happened once then this would be bad but twice? Fool me once......you know how it geos.
  • "Bale = The new Wall-E" on /Film
  • KING of the South
Hate to say this Peter, since I love the site so much, but this is all pretty stupid and not the reason at all why I come to /film. I expected more. /boring is right.
  • come on
    no more bale anger-mania please
  • That shirt made me laugh! How great is that!? Man, i am just amazed at how fast people jump on this stuff....it took me all day to get around to reading about it and then laughing with a friend about it, let alone record a song/make a shirt/ or find some other creative outlet to say my piece...im just impressed really...
  • Zinc
Ok, that song is on constant repeat. It's so fucking awesome.
  • i want one...
  • Palmer
    Talk about over saturation.
  • starscream9289
Well, time for some prank calls hehehe
  • im glad all this stuff is popping up! so he can release what an ass he is!
And i hope the producers make him apologise
  • Zinc
Apologies to who? Nobody deserve an apology except for the DP, and how the hell do you know whether or not he has already? Screw off.
  • apologize*
  • he really can be a real asshole. it's great to hear him swearing and yelling in his welsh accent. quality. the song is brilliant too...
  • hahaha that's awesome.

such a fast turn-around too since that story hit the inter-waves.
  • FuckingAmature
I want to start a band called "The Fucking Amatures" our first album can be called "McG You Gonna Do Somethin'?"
  • dannyboy
hahahaha cant wait it will be the best album in years
  • how could you not love that shirt.!
  • omg im buying this
  • King, I'm sorry you feel this way, but right now the traffic numbers are strongly opposed to your viewpoint. I'm not going to turn this into a gossip site. Nothing is changing. But when something is hot, and I think its funny/interesting, we're going to cover it. All I can say is scroll on by it and stick with us.
  • You're a nice guy, Peter. You're a nice guy. But that don't f'ing cut it. You and I are done, professionally.

    (sorry, I couldn't resist)
  • Win.
  • The song is really funny. I'm impressed how fast it was put together.
  • prophecy_projectz
LMAO@ nearly 2 decades of Bale trying to stay out of the gossip spotlight crumbling in a matter of hours.
  • MrSawyer
The song is hilarious, but I hope this doesn't go any further.
  • That song is hilarious. I hope he's having a laugh over this.
  • This is so ridiculous. I love the internet because they can make something so epic out of a 4 minute rant. Next, someone is going to do one of those "fuck" counts they have on movies like Scarface where they take out everything but "fuck".
  • this whole ordeal is hilarious. hes such a baby. he thinks "oh im batman i can be a dick to everyone." but now he looks like an idiot. professionally.
  • themanisgood
All of you who say you're not impressed with Christian Bale, lemme tell you this: I work at a construction site, so I hear a fair share of someone going off. However, I've never heard a rant I enjoyed from start to finish as much as Bale's. Perfectly executed, passionate, with the right amount of intimidation mixed with a bit of ridicule. I would wet myself if I was the target of that delivery.
  • Sure does look slashChristianBale around here...
