lets see a movie with Will Smith, Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise in a action packed movie that will be some real summer blockbuster movie
  • HAHA! That would be stellar.
  • J.D.
Five minutes in, as soon as Queen Latifah got the audience to chant the Obama mantra "Yes we can" I changed the channel. It is too early for Obama fatigue?
  • James
No, it's really not too early. There are stores with puzzles of him and picture frames with him in the on sale. I makes me think of the 9/11 things they sale. It's just weird to play on people's emotions to make them buy things. Seeing that kind of stuff makes the fatigue even worse.
  • I agree. And this Inauguration is going to look like New Orleans, post-Katrina.
  • This awards show is a joke. I watched 5 minutes and hated every second.

what are you people? old farts? ...go back to your spouses for another divorce. if you weren't a sad ignorant bunch of people, you would realize that YOUNG PEOPLE prefer the Teen Choice Awards over the Academy Awards ANY DAY! ...stop bashing it and realize it's actual votes from real teens...therefore it's what the YOUTH of AMERICA VOTED FOR!
  • HAHA, the 'YOUTH of AMERICA' is made of a bunch of clones and robots...
  • Yep, a bunch of Obama-supporters. Brainwashed by their lib teachers.
  • Mariel
Sorry but I believe that is wrong, I am a teenager and I hate award shows like Teen-choice awards or MTV or People's Choice Awards because they are stupid, they have no reason whereas the Academy Awards is classy and brings you back to the old Hollywood glory days with beautiful dresses and all the fanfair thats what I like
  • James
I am glad to hear you say that. It's like some the mtv awards. One of their award shows is voted on by the fans, I believe the movie awards. If a person hates the movies that win the awards then they should blame the mtv audience - and really only the mtv audience that took the time to vote. So the award doesn't really say all that much.

For a supposedly amazing actor who the internet has been creaming for YEARS about, Christian Bale sure does win some irrelevant awards. Only two Best hero awards. One for MTV back in 2006 and now this?
I'm a fan of his but I wonder if he is heading down a bland path. with so many dour roles that are supposedly "badass" will people find his performances boring after the fanboy wank has cum and gone?

Just because someone wins glorified paper weights doesn't mean their career is in a downward spiral. Bale is a smart actor and does not just choose rolls to pya the bills. TDK was great, and I though 3:10 to Yuma was good too, not to mention the Prestiege. This year he's in T4 & Public Enemies. Bale will be around for a while
  • Rescue Dawn was, imo, one of his best performances.
  • Nina
hahahahahaha, a sexy woman want to find a young man to date. She put her profile and blogs on ****seekingsugarmomma.com****. I really want to ask whether she found her soulmate there. She puts so many hot pics there.

I'm just wondering, do people even still care about The People's Choice Awards anymore? I mean...Two and a Half Men won.
  • With categories such as, Best Superhero, and On-screen matchup, it sounds more like a high school yearbook poll than an award show. I haven't cared about People's Choice since I've heard of it's existence.
  • Palmer
True, but this may be a little bit higher than yearbook polls. Though I'm not too sure about the MTV movie awards. Now that has some pretty pointless categories.
  • Best Summer Movie So Far; and I think one year had Best Bromance. Those categories are classics.
  • Yes, that and Heroes.

    It's a sad, sad world

27 Dresses? Are F'N kidding me?
Where Tropic Thunder or Pineapple Express

27 Dresses Best Comedy? Are F'N kidding me?
Where Tropic Thunder or Pineapple Express
    not nominated in this category?
  • ^ True but at least TDK walked away with a few...
  • AND simpsons? people still watch that! Man i thought the movie would just end the series there...
  • Nice to see Dark Knight racking up more awards.
  • I saw TDK. It was okay.
  • Well thanks for sharing, that's the nicest thing you could do.
  • I saw TDK. It was okay; no "Batman & Robin" or anything, but goodish.
