I was about to say the same thing. It's the same poster as True Blood. If Megan Fox is a demon in the movie, then why can't they have Megan as half angel and half devil. Something?

for me, this will be the chance to see if cody is the real deal, or just a fluke. 'the united states of tara', looks good, but i think she co-wrote the treatment for the overall story, and the scripts for the first two episodes. i don't think it'd be fair to lay all the blame - or praise - on her for the show, as it's just to difficult to asess exactly what she did. but 'jennifer's body' will be the test.

and i hate to admit this - as i've been a staunch supporter of the faction that feels juno was over-rated and undeserving of some of it's awards last year, BUT comcast has had it on 5 times a day for the past month, and the film has definately grown on me. it actually is very funny and enjoyable - i still don't feel it deserved the oscar, or some of its nominations, but it really is a good film.

go read the script, I really enjoyed Jennifer's Body and I can't wait to see it. I have also read "The United States of Tara" pilot episode that she wrote, and it was really funny. I think she definitely will be around for a long time to come.

Any idea why the release date is so far away? They finished shooting this thing 6 months ago... unless it's overflowing with special FX, shouldn't take 15 months to edit this movie... methinks something's fishy.

They probably couldn't find a good time to release it. Maybe they know wouldn't make alot of money if it was released during early 09 or summer of 09. It seems like it should be released around that time though.

That makes complete sense, except for the fact that this is supposed to be "another Diablo Cody masterpiece" ... anything she writes is automagically gold, right? LOL ... I mean, reading the plot, it sounds like a shlocky B-horror movie... I'm sure it was greenlit with the expectation that it'd be the next Juno.

nobody ever said it was gonna be the next Juno. Cody said that she wanted to veer clear of living up to people's expectations, which is why I got high hopes for her.
