The Shining Street Art

“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in. Not by the hair of your chiny-chin-chin? Well then I’ll huff and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in.” This Jack Nicholson / The Shining graffiti is one of the coolest pieces of film related street art I’ve ever seen.

    this is in BERLIN (area Kreuzberg 36) germany, near where i live.
    its on the outside of a shop that sells quality dvds, movieposters, books about movies, etc... the shop is called Videodrom and every reader of /film would have a lot of fun in that place!

    i dont really know, but they do sell these kind of movies there too - it could eaily be that they got the idea from that title. its a really good little shop with lots of heart (and lots to find).
  • I've seen a few pieces of street art derived directly from The Shining. Seems Kubrick has some serious street cred going on!

  • A co-worker was just talking to me about graffiti today and recommended this doc 'Style Wars'. After seeing this, now I'm really adding it to my netflix queue.

    The world can never have enough good graffiti art.
