Lost Season 5 Preview: Jack and Ben

ABC has released another sneak preview of “Because You Left”, the first episode of Season Five of Lost. The clip features Jack and Ben talking about what might have become to the other passengers who stayed on the moving island, while they prepare to “go back”. A couple weeks ago, ABC released a scene from featuring Kate and a lawyer with a mysterious client. You can watch that previous clip here .

    the show has gone too far a smoke that kills people, other people was on the island, people who could not walk now walking, the fuckin island can move i bet when the show finishing it will be all just a fucking dream Jack was dreaming all this on the plane

    but some reason we are all hooked the reason why we hooked is because we want to see it end and explain the whole shit thats going on

    No I think you're retarded. The reason why people enjoy this show is because the characters are compelling. Not everyone is an idiot viewer who only wants to see the ending like yourself.
  • I just can't buy into this show. I gave it a chance but I could take it or leave it. Leave it, mostly. It needs to make up its fucking mind.
  • I think it has "made up its mind" by now, season 4 pretty much proved that. With an end date to the story in sight, the writers don't have to string things out as much. Of course a large element of the show is the suspense and the feeling that you need to know what's going to happen next, so if that sort of thing doesn't interest you then you're never going to like it.

    Us Lost fans have to be the most patient people on the planet. Because when you think about, from an outsider's view, the show really is fucking crazy.

    I enjoy the wait...it makes it even more exciting when it comes on. It is crazy from an outsiders view, you have to see it from the beginning to get the full enjoyment out of it.

    I'm excited too. The show drives me crazy sometimes, but that doesn't detract from the quality by any means (for me anyway). I really liked the editing in that clip, the way they interspersed the footage of the people still on the island. Nice touch.

    He's lying..."I guess we'll never know"...I trust Ben as far as I can throw him. Grr. Honestly, if Sawyer or Jack or someone doesn't put a bullet in his head by the time the show raps. I'm excited.

    haha, i agree about feeling that Ben needs to die in the worst way, but i also feel like when the show ends in May 2010 that Ben will be the hero and was right all along. Abrams would do that.

    Sure, waiting is really difficult, but its really not that big of a deal. It has morphed into different kinds of waiting over the seasons too, but I can't complain. I've watched it from the first episode way back in September 2004 and I'm amazed its still going.

    the guy playing ben linus is brilliant in the role. i just love this show, and absolutely admire the fact that they came in with a 5 or 6 season plan, and they are sticking to it - rather than milking/ruining/dragging it down. haven't missed an episode yet, and i cannot wait.
