Just saw the trailer. Looks great. Rourke will be nominated.

i've been avoiding the trailer to the wrestler on purpose to get the full experience when i see it in theatres.

Anyone know what cities it will be released in on the 17th?

I just saw this on Sunday and there was a Q and A with Darren and Marisa afterward. All I can say is....AWESOME! It's like nothing Darren's done before...its just a really excellent film. People will be blown away. IT's the complete opposite of The Fountain..goes back to Pi days..its very minimal. Not meaning to plug myself...but I write for SFStation.com and you can check out my review that will be posted around release day

This movie has been under my radar for quite a while, but only recently has it been on my "must watch" list this holiday season. Can't wait to see it.

Yeah my expectations are almost too high for this. I kind of wish this had just flown under the radar and I'd learned about it a month or so before its release.

Mickey Rourke's last turn in Sin City has me super psyched for this.

I don't want to overhype this too much, but as good as the trailer looks, the movie itself is 10x better. Rourke's performance is just heartbreaking. The stuff Oscar frontrunners are made of.

Jeez.. I just need to stop reading about the movie until it comes out.

I can't wait to see this film. I was a little skeptical of the movie when I first heard about it. I've been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remember and wrestling movies are usually way too over the top and unrealistic (not that wrestling is real). However, after seeing the trailer and all the coverage this movie is getting; I can't WAIT!

God I hope this comes to Hawaii....

I saw the movie here in Bulgaria at The Cinemania festival and it was amazing. Gonna go see it again soon.

I'm a huge fan of Rourke and can't wait to see this movie!!!
He's such a wonderful actor when he wants to be and by the looks of it he will be awesome!!! :D
